I know what you mean, it's just the way you called the yellow pyramid a "thing" that I found funny. Also, the way he just...turns into a ball when you beat him! I know this happens with one of the fire crabs in the Cave of Bad Dreams, but still...

It was a good level, anyway. :P

BTW, I will not create levels anymore. Story became so complicated that I decided to make a fanfic instead.

Next of series, anyway. Problem with fan-fic is I thank on it...but in Polish!

Name: The Squonkies' Meadow, Part 1
Description: A meadow in a forest on the lake. Squonkies from the title are small white birds with long beaks.

Round 1
You start in a forest. The trees themselves are spiky, however you can travel through their leaves. The enemy found sometimes in this level is Hunchman 800 MK-X. It uses very slow but big missiles and has got big HP. After some jumping and flying on a barrel you reach

Round 2
There the true meadow starts. It is a fight level - you fight:
1) 2 Hunchmen 900 MK-I.
2) Hunchman 800 MK-X.
3) Hunchman 800 MK-X and Hunchman 900 MK-I.
4) 2 Hunchmen 800 MK-X and 2 Hunchmen 900 MK-I.
5) 2 Hunchman 800 MK-X, Hunchman 900 MK-I and 2 Barell'o'bots.
6) 3 Barrel'o'bots and Ninjaws.

Round 3
You reach a circle of stones. Now, you simply continue to the next level. This would be useful later.

Round 4
Very big mushroom and lots of smaller ones... However, this is a level where Ly comes and gives you

Name: Fist Throwing
Button: Tab or Num6
Description: :boon:

This is very useful here, because you can use fists in a bit other way than energy balls. They're definitely heavier, so they can push heavy switches and they're better at close fight. However, they need lower distance. And they cause different effect with purple lums: they grab it, but swinging is smaller, then you can jump UP THE LUM with A or even SHOOT ENERGY BALLS.

The level is tutorial how to use it. At top, you jump on the cliff, reach Teensie cage and go back to Hall of Doors.

8/10, and a level that is completely set in a Pirate Fortress (Only going outside briefly, and it is raining) would be awesome!

Sorry man, I have got a definitely funnier idea. Wait please. It would start in next level after one in this post.

Ooops! Wait a moment. I forgot about something. Lums and Cages in Squonkies' Meadow! They are 35 and 7, respectively.

O.K., let's continue:
Name: The Gasoline Lake
Lums: 40
Cages: 4
Description: A wasted lake level.

Round 1
At this point, you're near a (clean) river. In first part, your goal is to climb up to place where it starts. You can meet some Hunchman 800 MK-X there. When you're near start of river, you reach green lum and keg machine. Now your goal is to swim down the river on keg! Rocks, waterfalls, fish... end it yourself.

Round 2
So we slided to the lake! What does all this metal do here? Anyway, this level is somehow similar to Echoing Caves: some jumping, some flying on keg etc. However, there are some differences:
1. There is no roof.
2. Instead of water, there is a lot of burning gasoline.
3. Sometimes, there is some clean (not green) water and you have to slide on it with keg like in round 1.
Pirate found there is Barrel'o'bot MK-II. It can do what normal barrel'o'bot does, but is smaller and faster.

Cutscene

A few Hunchmen 800 tried to collect as many metal as they could.
-There's already a lot of it, boys. Break!- Lackey yelled.
Happy pirates got back to their "room". Lackey grabbed some metal and put it into gasoline. When it was hot already, he putted it into the wooden form.
"O.K., engine is ready" - he thank and put it on the stack build of many parts of small ship. "We'll get out of this world after a month or two", his slave chip added.

Lackey knew, that after explosion of "Bucaneer", there were four groups of pirates. One was instantly destroyed. Second one, built of only one member, admiral, flew to unknown destination. Third group, just created new models of Henchmen, Ninjaws and Barrel'o'bots, landed nearvy old volcano near to the Lums Sea.

Fourth group, that was sinking in lava.... including him....

The gasoline, oil and lava cannisters, for unknown reason, weren't destroyed that way. They simply falled to the Squonkies' Lake, so a few pirates stayed working.

There were no reason for conquering this planet. It wasn't on way of The Base, people who lived there were peaceful, ground wasn't radiative...

"Evacuation is only sensible think" - thank Lackey and gone to the room.

Round 1
Well well well, more burning gasoline levels? However, this time you meet a definitely new kind of enemy: Hunchman 1100! It looks like all the Hunchmans, except of one thing: it has got Vacuum Boots. This means a few things:
1) It can jump very well.
2) It can dash very well.
3) It can use these boots to manipulate YOU.
4) It can grab a keg using leg and than throw it very fast.
Going worried? Wait a moment! I haven't said you the worst one.
5) Boots create some king of poison gas.

Anyway, every model has got its weak points. Hunchman 1100 hasn't got any kind of cannon. Also, after some time the boots have no more gas and use air instead. And, after then, it is possible that there would be no more AIR, so H1100 will load some - and be very easy to shoot.

Round 2
What the hell?! Hunchman 800?! And not shooting, but fleeing?! Cutscene...

One of the Hunchmen ran in instantly.
-Invasion? Rescue? - asked Lackey.
-Invasion. - confirmed robot.
-Invasion of?
-People.
-Precise.
-Limbless type. Orange head. Purple body clothe with kind of white ornament and red deradiator. White gloves. Orange and white boots. Attack? - ended pirate.
Lackey thank for a moment. Rayman?!
-Nope.
-Defense programmed.
-Ignore, except of attack.
-Firmware modification succesful.
-Massive update.
-Got.

You jump up the cliffs, collecting some lums and using fists. One of new uses of it is breaking blue "crystals". Other one is you can punch spring and make your fist reaching unreachable points. At the end, cutscene. You reach a big bunch of wood.

Rayman saw the bunch of wood locking way, which leaded to cave. "Time for some work?", he thank. However, when he tried to grab one of branches, he heard a shot.
He looked to the second side. He saw a H800 and... some kind of robot. Not looking dangerous. Shot of H800 was going up... what the? They didn't want to kill him?
Lackey went down.
-MODEL H800, NUMBER 48458732!
-Yes, master.
-Wake up boys. We have to end the ladder today. It lacks way for this traveller.
-They're updating...
-So wake up them after update!
Rayman looked strangely at Lackey.
-You... don't want to kill me? Or enslave me?
-No sense.
-But they wanted...
-Instructions of Admiral Brick Razorbeard. Currently outdated.
"What?" thank Rayman, stunned.
-There are still lots of robots trying to kill me...
-Not a new. Failed firmware update.
-What are these branches doing here?
-Nothing. They simply lie here. They have no brainsor processors, you know...
-You have said something about ladder.
-Yes. We want to grab the map.
-Map? Where is it?
-Over there.
-I... I think I can... go there...
-Oh, really? Why? You destroyed olts of us...
Rayman took a look at Lackey.
-You're not trying to enslave me... Let me go. And destroy these branches.
Lackey laughed.
-No problem.


Round 3
Climbing! This describes everything. You have to be aware of broken rocks and some falling kegs. Oh, and there are lots of bridges - like these from Precipice. Under you,there is - of course - burning gasoline. At the end...

-Hey, you!
Lackey looked up.
-I'm Lackey. And throw it down, Rayman.
-Okey!- yelled Ray and jumped down. However, the rock broke...
-LACKEY! - he screamed.
-****- said Lackey. - ALL ROBOTS IN THE AREA! LIVING FORM IN DANGER!
Hunchmen suddenly ran to the hole.
-Wait Rayman! We'll get you out of there! We hope you have got the map?


Round 4
You fall down. A lot.

Rayman grabbed piece of paper. These pirates were obviously going to collect map and then kill him... Suddeny, he thrown it down... but it landed in vacuum that popped map up the hole.
-RAYMAN! First you, then map next time, o.k.?- yelled Lackey.
"Oh ****", thank Rayman. "So they are really going to put me out... Maybe for enslaving? But I always can escape..."
-Sorry!
-Now hurry! This acid is really going to burn you!
"What?" But Lackey was right. Flood of acid was caused by rock breaking the cystern.

I hope you understood who will be your main enemy in the first part of this round? The acid, of course. Now, this level is built of purple lums... After the acid will not go up anymore...

-Put ladder down, boys!
Rayman was going to grab the strings, when... suddenly...
-What is that?- he yelled when he saw some jumping metal catterpillars. Jumping at him!
-Answer processing 45% - answered Lackey surprisingly.
One of H800 jumped down.
-No time for thinking. Defense!
-Of course - said Rayman.

Defeating some jumping metal catterpillars isn't probably most healthy sport, but... no choice. After you beat them...

-Climb up firstly - said H800.
Rayman went up and saw... Lackey staying in same position as before the battle...
-99%... Answer processed succesfully. The creatures you just defeated are Catterbots 760, one of very first generations of robopirates.
-CATTERBOTS?! But what were they doing under the ground?
-Target of Catterbots was finding some clean water after catastrophy in year 3780.
-It is just 560...
-Sorry, changing numbering.... In year 0.
"Year 0?! Catastrophy?!"
-Thank you very much, Lackey, you got the map?
-Of course I have it.... ALERT, GROUNDSHAKE CAUSED BY ROBOT...
-B-b-b-by rob-b-b-bot-t-t-t?

Round 5

-Its name is Catterbot 1000.
-WHHAT-T-T-T TH-TH-THE HELLL IS HE D-D-D-DOING HERE?!
-It seems like acid woke him up...

*****BOSS FIGHT*****
CATTERBOT 1000

This very large thingy is throwing fireballs at you. You have to just punch him 13 times and then throw one of kegs brought by H800s into his eye. This will destroy one of his 6 HP.

-Catterbot defeated, goo job, Rayman - said Lackey.
-Thanks for kegs.
-No problem. You want the oil, right?
-Yessss.... how do you know this?
-Microphone in Clark's inplant.
-Inplant?!
-You know, remote control...
-It still works?!
-Microphone works. Get the oil from the cave and then go to the shortcut...
-Shortcut?

Round 6

Some jumping on mushrooms, really nothing more.

8/10, quite good, now its my turn to make a level:

The Great Escape
Description: This level comes after the Crows Nest after you get all 1000/800 lums, it takes place in The Prison Ship, which is collapsing and exploding.
Part 1: You have 3 minutes to complete the whole level (The timer is on the bottom of the screen), if it runs out, the Prison Ship explodes and you start from the beginning of the level, this part is full of falling parts of the ship that damage you if they hit you, Henchmen (All types, including version exclusive ones in versions over than the ones they appear in), and lava, there is also a short sliding section at the end, which takes you to part 2.
Part 2: This is a long walking shell riding section, this one is full of narrow bridges, shells which chase yours (Like in the PS1 version of the Menhir Hills), more falling ship parts, and large jumps.
Part 3: This area has every non-henchman enemy in the game (Except Eig, piranhas and every boss except Chennile), it has a swimming section, and a large area where you will have to battle Chennile, after that, you will have to run through a large corridor filled with Mini Janos, Tarantulas, Mega-Tarantulas, Shadow Spheres and Shadow Caterpillars, at the end of that, you have to jump off the Prison Ship and land in a portal in mid-air.
Yellow Lums: 80 (All of them are in cages)
Cages: 16
Music: Running Hell (From Cave Story, it plays throughout the level, even in battles and the fourth part exclusive to the PS1 and DS versions, if you are interested in the song, here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1VTkwllQ8Q)
Enemys: All, except Eig and Piranhas.
Bosses: Ninjaws, Chenille
Version Differences: In the PS1 and DS versions, their is a fourth part of the level (Which is a long plum riding section on swampy water, which Eig pops up throughout to try to block your path, and orange, green and purple pirates attack you on boats, barrels and platforms) and you have 4 minutes to complete the level, in Revolution, the second part of the level is skipped and you only have 2 minutes to complete the level.

7/10. It would be better, but version differences, and all these things ON THE PRISON SHIP...

Well, you know the black caterpillars? Like that, only red, and his face is like those flying black things. When you hit him, a segment comes off and is a red flying thing, and when you hit that, 4 black ones come out.
