If this stupid argument goes on any further we will have to take some kind of action.

And if you want to know my preferred system of this generation, I prefer the Wii.

-5 Tings goes to the next person that argues. Can't we all just express our own opinions without the worry of being flamed to the ground?

For me it would be between the Wii and the Xbox 360. I have to say though, the classic PS2 does still shine very brightly.

There he goes again. Get ready for another round of bashing anything that isn't the PS3.

Seems like I managed to get involved in spiraldoor's little console crusade after all... :tssk:

Oh, and my favourite console is Xbox 360, although a high end PC beats anything.

Personally, I'm not quite so kean on the PC, namely because you have all that installation process to endure, but also because I use the PC a lot, and playing games on it would only increase the time spent on it. My PC is also quite glitchy, so it's likely that any games that would be played on it would be wrecked. I guess this would only go for my computer though, not PCs in general. ^^

I do not understand this statement. Do elaborate.

*sighs* Repetition.

I totally agree.

Using a 7-core system 70 % is hard, really hard.

By the way, there is till the Mac Pro that beats the shit out of any console when it comes to performance.

Let me explain that i'm not arguing, i'm just saying good points about the PS3, but every console has its good points and it depends on what games you wan't to play. You can't use a 360 for playing Mario games and you can't use a Wii for games like Call of Duty 4

Well, just to show it's okay to admit the pitfalls of your system.

Why doesn't Crysis have a freaking Prone button/option under crouch or something when using the 360 controller?! NRGNRGNRGNRG. As hard as it is to use a controller for me, I really do like to try it out just for the vibration feedback. Bioshock is pretty nice though now that I have my controller working with it. It's a little easier to play just because you don't have to press the function keys to select plasmids (stupid design choice on Bioware's part).

Whenever I play Bioshock I always use my Xbox 360 controller because of the damn real time weapon/plasmid changing you have to deal with when using a keyboard. Oh, and Bioware didn't make Bioshock, it was made by 2K games Boston and Australia. :P

I always play all of my PC shooters with keyboard & mouse. Even if some controls are somewhat clunky (like Bioshock at times), I just really prefer the precision of a mouse. I've only played through the Bioshock demo though--I've been needing to get the full version sometime.

Well, I don't have any consoles from the current generation yet, but I'm getting a wii. It was a hard choice between that and the 360, they both have such a different range of games. But in the end I decided the wii simply had more games I thought I'd enjoy, especially with Virtual Console. (SNES games! YEAH!!!!!) I don't really give a damn about the motion sensing crap, it actually kinda annoys me.
The PS3 on the other hand...I really don't like the price on those things. Though I will miss playing Naughty Dog and Insomniac games.
As for PC gaming, I've never really played many games on the PC. In fact, I think apart from crappy internet flash games I've only ever played Dawn of War.
But anyway, until I get anything (which won't be 'til christmas) the PS2 will have to suffice. :P

A downside of the Wii is that you can't use your old original NES and SNES floppy's. I have many great games that i would really like to play on my Wii :(

Of course not, that's why they have a points system to download them [which is actually quite a wasteful and expensive service - if you buy a points card, it's just a bit of paper with a number on it and it's held in a game box that becomes useless once registered. WHAT?].

I don't have any consoles because they are too expensive for me (so are the games).
I mean, if I have the money to buy an Xbox, I'll probably buy a nice distortion pedal or something instead, because PC games are good enough for me already.

The Nintendo Entertainment System is the best. Has all the classics on it. The Sega Mega Drive/Genesis with the Mega CD and 32X was pretty awesome too. And I still own a Commodore 64.

But the NES is the best.
