I found it...somewhere...a couple of months ago, I think...and I posted it in another thread...then just yesterday I copied and pasted it into this thread...

Never mind. It's just that I fail at imagining what violent sand dunes look like

When it's really windy, sand dunes probably get whipped around in the air...violently...

I don't know whether I should go back to the Rayman school, but I'm sure you definitely need to learn the difference between a proof and and a reference.
No i don't. The plums' role in the games is too big to be a reference. The R2 N64 manual is the actual storyline. Okay, the antitoons in R2 PS1 might be some kind of reference, but the other things a definitely not. I wouldn't say all this if i wasn't 100% sure i was right.

Oh well, arguing is hopeless. I actually share your point of view, but you don't seem to understand that only the text in the manual actually proves that both games take place in the same world.

And the plums.

Well, as long as you agree with me, i'm happy.

Anyway, I'm starting to wonder: is Dark Rayman a character, or just a skin for Rayman?

Maybe Rayman was teleported to the future, like Jak.And if you compare Rayman 1 to 2 you can think that Rayman 2 is in the future. Wizards to cruwl robo pirates.

A skin. Or, that's what people are saying.

Is it possible in Rayman Arena to play as Dark Rayman?

You can play as Rayman, and Dark Rayman is a skin for Rayman, so i guess you can.

There wouldn't be a point in having him take up another character slot anyway, since he has the same powers as Rayman and the only difference is his look.

You're gonna rank up soon, Dingo.

Sorry, back on topic.
Yeah, i get your point.

I'm not so familiar with Arena... are there multiple skins for each character? In Rayman M, there are four skins for Razorbeard, Globox, Teensies, Henchman and Henchman 1000 including the original look. Does this mean that there are more skins for Rayman in Arena?

Really? I only got Rayman M some time last year and I haven't played it in ages because the Poloppoi (sorry, can't spell) mode was killing me. What are Henchman 1000's oter skins?
Yay, I'm a monk. Love those guys in Band Land.

The Henchman 1000's skins are not that cool. I prefer the Henchman 800's skins.

Yus but what are they?
Rayman M is a great game, I really should play it again. Although I might avoid the Pollopoi challenges for as long as I can.

I prefer the ordinary skin for H800.

The skins in RM aren't really all that good.
