Yeah, and it does actually make sense because the 200 remaining lums are in the 2D levels (Rayman 2 early prototype).

Xenon wrote:I don't think I remember any reference to the creation of the Heart of the World, and don't recall anything about the formation of Yellows, Greens, Silvers and Blacks through the Reds, Blues and Purples. Could be wrong though... I'm a little rusty.

Anyway, I wonder why there were only 800 Yellow Lums in the PS2 version. That makes no sense.
I didn't say anything about the creation of the Heart. Nor did I say anything about the formation of Yellows, Greens, Silvers and Blacks through the Reds, Blues and Purples.

You're right, I just assumed by 'beginning' you meant 'creation'. My error.

According to Rayman 2, the Yellow, Red, Blue and Purple Lums created Polokus. Lums are made of energy. The Heart is made of 1000 Yellow Lums. In Rayman 3, Murfy says "The Heart is where all the world's energy comes from". Therefore, one can conclude that the Heart is the source of Red, Blue and Purple Lums, and that it was in fact present even before the Lums created Polokus. The Heart is the singularity, if you will. Or, to put it in Greek mythological terms, the Heart is Chaos. Or in Christian terms, it's God.
