About the textures, I did that on purpose because it's supposed to kind of look like Rayman's like "Yeeeeah, we're not in TOOOO much trouble... heheh...."
And about smoothing Moskito's head, I don't know how to actually blend the parts together, because each shape (eyelid and eye for example) are different instances and you can combine them but that still doesn't truly make one.

It'd be awesome to figure that out though.
^Unless you meant in polycount, but that wouldn't make sence because Moskito's head is about 15-20x the poly count of Rayman's whole self.^
Anyways thanks.

But it just looks like he's got swolen eyelids or something.

What a terrible thought!

It looks more like he's got some stinging sensation up his nose and it's making his eyes twinge, lol.

Hey Rayfan, can you alter Rayman's expression on your model? Like make him happy, angry etc.

Yep. I'll render a whole bunch of different expressions on him right now.

Hey RayFan, did you check if my Teensie texture was alright ?
If it is, i'll rip the rest of the title screen characters.
Thank you in advance.

No, sorry they didn't work.
And here's another random picture rendered in Max (FYI that's "Moskette"):
I know it's a LITTLE blurry, but that seems to be JPEGs.

Save it as .PNG then.

The files would be huge: the best solution would be to set a 90% quality while saving the image as a JPEG.

PNG is very small format. And even if it's bigger than jpeg, the connections of today are pretty fast.

Because they're fast doesn't mean we have to waste bandwidth. The size of a PNG file is approximately proportional to its colour palette, which makes it absolutely stupid to use this format for such images. On the other hand, a JPEG encoding with a decent compression rate will provide you with a good quality picture as well as a much smaller file.

I'll use a PNG as well. Here I uploaded a PNG at a higher res as well. The JPG was at 800x600 so I re-rendered it at 1024x768.

Don't see why you're posting these on two seperate threads.

Does anyone here have Rayman (2) Revolution for PS2 or on an emulator? If you have it on an emulator, can you capture/rip a frame of Rayman standing and send me the frames and textures folder and tell me if you use XP Vista or Se7en (the directory changes)? If you have a PS2, can you download an emulator and play it on the emulator and do the thing I mentioned above?
Wow, a lot of "?" marks.

I have PS2 emulator with rayman revolution, I tried to rip them but the only thing it rips is a flat primitive, which they render the game on...

I thought no emulators could play that properly.

What do you mean by flat primitives? Did you set the FoV to 60?

Yeah, sounds interesting. I'd like to hear more about it
