Great country, except for the fact that games are released much later there than in the rest of the World.
Actually I'm pretty sure we get a lot of games earlier than Europe. Brawl and HeartGold/SoulSilver for example came/come out a day earlier here than in Europe. :P
Yes, but that's far more than outweighed by the fact that any 18-rated game gets a horribly bastardised censored Australian release, thanks to that Atkins guy.

We also have a very high concentration of hot blondes, although Sweden beats us on that particular point.

The mere fact that a country is a super power doesn't make it a great country. Would you also say that the Soviet Union and the People's Republic of China are great countries. I doubt it.
I disagree. Norway may have more highly-intelligent and attractive people than other countries, better healthcare etc., and may be a damn better place to live, but I think the USA is definitely the greatest country of modern times.

And no, that doesn't mean I like the USA or anything about it. I don't. But it's bigger and stronger than Norway (or other country) and could destroy it if they wanted to. I guess what I'm trying to say here is that usually 'Good ≠ Great'.

Of course it isn't. Russia is bigger than the USA and it can't do shit.

as a Russian, I can confirm that :-)

he was focusing on the political and military and whatever other power of the USA though
and as much as I hate to say it, he's right :|

We need a government that would actually bother to do something good for the country instead of setting their dictatorship under the mask of 'democracy', meh

Bits of it are owned by many countries, although I think Australia owns more than any other.

I'm not saying the Netherlands is the best country in the world, but I have to say I'm grateful that I was born here. I'd never move to another country and I don't understand why people would want that. Someone wanted to move to Italy and when I asked why, she said: "Because the weather here sucks." *sighs*

But.. What exactly makes a country the best country in the world?

Edit: Btw, I went to the USA (Orlando) last year and somehow, it made me sad. Everything there seems so great, but when you look closely, things are a bit fake. And the people there didn't look very happy with their lives. I don't have that impression in the Netherlands.

Well Sakhalin was Japanese first I believe  But you were right to steal them though :bad:

Also, France really isn't a very nice place to live in. The country itself is quite awesome, but the main problem is the French :boon:
