GIMP?
Wacom Bamboo?
I'm getting confused here. :paranormal:

Gimp is a free alternative to Photoshop, Wacom Bamboo is a drawing tablet, albeit a cheap but decent one .

There I did all your googling for you.

Yes, GIMP (known as "free Photoshop") and Wacom Bamboo tablet.
It's already a year I've been using GIMP and don't want to switch to any other program. :D Takes a while to get used to its interface, but it's worthy.

I know Stacey already explained but next time use Google. You'll see it won't hurt anything.

These are making me tempted to start using acrylics again, I almost keep thinking they're digital, they're THAT bold. :)

Stacey, right, ithey're like Photoshop's RL incarnation. :)
The only minus is that correcting colors after scanning takes a truckload of time.

You used acrylic ink?! OO ... God... that's perfect!

That pretty much applies to traditional art in general, watercolours particularly being a pain in the butt to correct :P

Haruka, they're tubed acrylics, not inks. I wish we had good inks here... :(

Stacey, hmmm... I can remember only 2 or 3 watercolor pics that I actually scrapped, the rest is either on dA or sent abroad as gifts. :) My main "trouble" are gouaches - THE most hard-to-correct media, IMO.
Edit: *Heck, forgot that you meant "correct" digitally. :fou:

Oh ok, I guess I never used tubed acrylics. Do you have a picture/article about the material?

Ah! Got that, I thought if they're inks, they must be in bottles. :D
And I use http://www.nevskayapalitra.ru/en_products.html?cid=150 (set of 12) + a bit of markers.

When I paint with acrylics I can't do the effects you can do... ^^'

It is hard to believe this is a traditional work and not digital... OO
