How come if purple was the colour of death in japan, the original Rayman wasn't changed to blue? :|

P.S I have been told by someone that there is an extra level in the Japanise version called "The Legend of Cake". :?:

Well... maybe? :P

I tried to contact someone on Youtube that had the Japanese version of Rayman 1 for SEGA Saturn, but he/she refused to give a ISO. So the only way is to someone on forum get it.

I should think that saturn ISOs would be easier to rip than Dreamcast ones so if my bf gets a copy of it we'll try and rip one, though ripping the PS1 one would be a lot easier.

Purple is not the colour of death in Japan.

Anyway, I'll try to find a ISO on Japanese website, I'll let you know if I find someting. ;)

I read recently that is very hard to rip a Dreamcast game, and it needs to be cracked in order to work... :(

Thanks Raylex, that'll be of good help ;)

Yeah ripping GD roms is super hard, one of the only ways to do it is to set up a dial up/broadband modem and email it or something...

As much as I would love to believe this, I suspect that the person who gave you this information is having you on, or received it from an incorrect source themselves. The bonus level in the giant present is an idea that we’ve discussed on this forum for years, but it’s simply the stuff of fantasy. However, localisations released a significant period of time after the original version often do contain added content, so perhaps there’s a glimmer of possibility.

Now that I think of it, doesn’t foultzboyz have this version?

Yeah we thought it could be a hoax too, come to mention it, we haven't seen that person ever since :? , it would be worth checking that version though if foultzboyz has this. :)
