The protagonist for a comic in the works. A long, long comic. I've been hesitant to upload any sketches of her as she has drastically changed each and every time, but... I think I like this design most.

Doing an RP blog, made a drawing in response to an ask and I'm pretty pleased with the aesthetic of it. So I'll plunk it here too.

Thanks Shroob! I was originally going to make his cloak have more 'sheen', but opted out of it. It seemed too plasticy for my tastes. Glad to see it didn't need it at all.

Was hesitant, but decided to post this lil' guy. I'm pleased with this sprite redraw.

Ok so before anyone screams any final thoughts on this, I'm really just posting this here in the hopes of getting some input. It's not done at all, and I ended up making all this nonsensical lighting for fun, but I kind of want to keep and work with it. What do you guys think?

Needs scary evil lightning, if you're going dramatic, might as well go all the way.

In all seriousness, I don't think I can really give any amendments, it looks pretty stunning as is.

The lighting is great. Gotta love a big fireball and dramatic shadow-overcast main focal point for added effect. The one remark I do have though, is that, unless Rayman's left fist is also emitting some sort of light, it looks like his nose should be in full shadow given the backlighting and the fact that Mr D's robes cover the light coming from the flame towards Ray. This is even more so the case with Ray's body, which is almost completely enveloped in the robes, yet somehow still in the light.

I've got to add that the fact that Mr Dark's face is a swirling galaxy is absolutely amazing. I can't believe how awesome it looks.

Also, nice self-supporting robes. Looks like he can use both his hands to fight Rayman with now.

Yes yes, exactly. Since it's well recieved I'll stick with and refine it now, thank you for the feedback you guys!

It looks very awesome! I especially like how Mr. Dark seems to be some sort of a cosmic cloud. I myself have always believed that Mr. Dark consists of some sort of dark matter under his cloak, kinda like Nigthmare from the Kirby series:
