As you know, many Chinese living in Spain, most working in grocery stores, and sell snuff to anyone. The other day I saw a boy of ten years buying snuff in one of these stores. Here, is the fault of the Chinese.

This reminds me a news I read in a newspaper; it seems there are even more people buying electronic cigarretes.

I saw it when I went to London during winter's holiday. It's pretty funny, it remind me chocolare cigarretes

Apparently it exists recharges for them with low quantity of nicotine and with high quantity. Doctors are making studies about it too. It isn't currently under the tobacco law but however, I don't think it is recommendable for people who try to not smoke anymore.

I don't think it's the fault of the Chinese if young Spanish people smoke, and that's an incredibly stupid things to say. Maybe some Chinese people in Spain contribute to this, but that's all. Accusing all Chinese immigrants is stupid and bullshit.

I don’t see how the fact (?) that ‘living kills’ justifies the wilful damage of one’s own bodily health for no real reason. I also fail to see how smoking makes one’s life more ‘intense’, or how this brand of cancerous ‘intensity’ might be perceived as desirable. Are you suggesting that non-smokers lead a ‘dreary existence’? Both of your points are very general ‘live your life on the wild side’ mottoes and seem to have little or nothing to do with the actual practice of smoking tobacco.

Please allow me to consider this a fact until we discover the key to eternal life. Everyday life is made of what you call ‘wilful damage of one’s own bodily health for no real reason’, may you want to consider your diet, the use of cellular phones, and to a larger extent the use or consumption of anything proved to be carcinogenic or harmful in any way to one’s health (which is to say, pretty much everything around you). Your failure to see how smoking could make someone’s life more intense is merely founded on your biased opinion according to which smoking is not enjoyable; I’d love to hear the billion smokers on that one. Nowhere am I suggesting that a non-smoker’s life has to be terribly annoying, nor am I denying that the two statements I pointed out are absolutely general, but the total absence of understanding of how and why someone would risk dying earlier and enjoy dragging on fags, and thus the obvious link between my points and the practice of smoking tobacco, leaves me speechless.

He didn’t accuse ‘all’ Chinese immigrants of causing the problem, he simply said that Chinese immigrants were the ones who sell the cigarettes to children. Let’s not mince our words here: if Chinese immigrants are the ones who are selling cigarettes to children, then they are the ones who should be held responsible.

I don’t think mobile phones are comparable to cigarettes. Mobiles have enormous practical benefits and (as far as I’m aware) do not pose a significant health risk, whereas cigarettes have no practical benefits and represent an enormous health risk. Your diet example is more understandable, but there are a number of ways in which this comparison does not stand up; for example, bad diets don’t exert an enormous drain on your wallet in the way cigarettes do. (For the record, I have a moderately healthy diet and despise crap food almost as much as I despise cigarettes.) Smoking represents a curiously nasty combination of elements: you can severely damage your bodily wellbeing, significantly hasten the oncome of your death, find yourself hopelessly addicted and dependent on the cigarettes themselves, cost yourself an enormous amount of money each year, damage the health of the people around you and even cause your children to emulate your habit. I’m aware that a great many other everyday deeds (driving on roads, breathing city air, having casual sex etc) can be damaging to one’s health, but little besides the abuse of hard drugs is as uniquely unwise as the smoking of cigarettes. You mention a billion smokers; I can’t help but wonder how many of them are glad that they started, and how many of them truly smoke for pleasure rather than to feed their addiction. I just don’t understand why any person in their right mind would willingly subject themselves to this.

Still not surprising, i have seen worse things.

I hate the smell of cigarrette smoke, it's makes my head hurt and sometimes asthma stuff. (I even had to tell a woman to stop smoking near my table when i went to a
chinese food restaurant.)

I'm not bothered by smokers, except of if they strain my lungs too much

I find it pretty pointless though to pay for something which leads to servere damage and eventually even to death. Especially if it's purely done due to trying to be considered cool among your friends / in society
