To think I've never tried this classic... I'd like to say I'm going to fix that very soon, but haven't I been saying the same about BG&E for the better part of two decades? :fou2:

I think BG&E is probably the more enjoyable game.

Plus the fact that Marc Laidlaw had been let go from Valve, and so some people speculated that bitterness may have coloured his telling of the tale. As I recall people said that the ending of the real game, had it been made, might have been less depressing (although the franchise isn't exactly known for its happy endings! :fou2:).

Anyway, in theory, HL3 "could" still be made at some point in the future, and would doubtless take a different course (especially since, if I've heard correctly, HL:Alyx has actually retconned some of the Episodic timeline – still never played it myself since it's VR-only :oops2:)

Maybe if we want to continue this discussion we should take it to viewtopic.php?t=6988 :oops2:
Yeah probably best to move...

As for HL3, I have played bits of Alyx and I know how it ends, and it feels like in some ways they kinda tried to meld portions of Epistle 3 onto Alyx. As such, I think without a doubt that if they wanted to carry on the narrative post-Episode 2, thanks to Alyx, it'll have to be different, there might be some broad strokes they could carry through, but I think at this point they're probably thinking in a different direction. Though I suspect any true continuation of the series could still go in a rapidly different direction anyways given how long it's been since even Alyx at this point (4 years now is it?)

I wonder if Gordon Freeman teleported in the Glade of Dreams of Rayman 3 era instead of Xen? How would the locals react?.. I mean, this question still bothers me and I need to hear you all's opinions/answers. Soooo yeah.

Man, back in last year I watched Half Life mod, named Half Life: Google Translate Edition

There are many voices that uses TTS (Text-to-speech), and yet some earrape during intro sequence (just once) saying you must first remove...

New Game would be changed Its a new game (Correct if i am wrong).
