I remember once that I saw a girl with a Rayman 3 bag many years ago...

And lets not forget the extra 10€ for the sending cost, with... *psycho music* Collissimo. 8'3

Lets be honest, the highest ammount I've gave for a Rayman marchandising item was with the MacDonalds collection, that wasn't even half of what the small plush was sold!
Oh jeez, that's all it consists of? To think I was interested in buying it. <u>

My highest amount was either for my Mcdonalds collection or the mysterious Rayman on a mushroom figure. Both around £30 total.

Master4lyf1- I'd laugh if it were me by any stroke of luck; I happened to own a R3 bag and I can't think of many other people within the UK who have it as well.

It depends of which bag is he talking about. There's a rarer one from a French collector's edition of R3HH for PC.

By the way, a new RL shirt: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PAX-Prime-201 ... 3a796474f0
Late quote, but thanks for the link, Haruka. ^^ I was actually interested in this shirt but the last offer I saw only shipped to the US.

So about that plush auction... Is anyone actually glad it went for so high? The way I see it is that Rayman merchandise is hard to come by and when it is found, it's usually sold for a cheap price. Now buying it cheap is obviously great for us but at the same time I've always felt like these cheap prices were never doing Rayman any justice. I know it sounds weird.

What was the last price a Rayman plush has been publicly sold for anyways? Perhaps we might be seeing a rise in interest towards Rayman products? I like collecting Pokemon cards and well there's this old set that used to be like $20 a booster pack. Not many people knew about it until later when old sets became the rage. Suddenly these packs sell for price ranges from $50 all the way to $100. It'd be cool if this happens to Rayman merchandise. The more interest in Rayman, the better! Although that also means I'll be missing out on deals here and there. :P

About the tshirt; I'd like to see if they have them for sale at Eurogamer like when they had Darktoon tshirts last year (wish I bought them now, even though the ones we got for the art contest were much nicer).

About the plush; I literally found that winning bid shocking tbh, I used to think that even though it's rare as all hell it'd be worth about £5-20 based on how much others paid for it. My boyfriend flat out told me that "this is what it's like to be a Sonic fan", so who knows nowadays.

Damn, this plush is so... idiotic. xD Really, who's that crazy one who bought it for 107 pounds?? I saw this auction some time ago and thought that noone would buy it! LOL.

As for me, I like collecting stuff, but have almostly nothing with Rayman... except Rayman Origins Collector's Edition for PC. Game is Russian and, telling truth, it's not similar to such collector's editions which were with different console versions of game...

European collector's edition for PS3/XboX is in big box and contains hardcover artbook, soundtrack ang game... mine has different complectation.
First of all, Russian PC collector's edition is twice thinner than for PS3/XboX. It has almostly same size as DVD box. Then artbook is not in hard cover, but paperback. There is no soundtrack, but it wasn't big deal for me, because this soundtrack is incomplete as I know. Disc with game comes in very thin but nicely done cardboard case. Also, there is a sticker set and magnet as bonus.

So, here are photos of this edition.

http://img22.imageshack.us/img22/7097/2 ... 042931.jpg - stickers, magnet and artbook.
http://img31.imageshack.us/img31/1281/2 ... 043057.jpg - example of Russian font in artbook.
http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/2143/68517965.jpg - another photo of stickers, magnet and cardboard case, here is manual and disc too.
http://img339.imageshack.us/img339/4148 ... 043342.jpg - boring B/W manual.

Talking about other stuff, I really want to get McDonalds figure of Rayman on plum, make my own plushie (in case that official ones are rare and horrible) and get one of Rayman Junior games in English... talking about Rayman Junior, I found on eBay three different levels. Can't get it, are they same but with different tasks level or game levels are different too?

Thanks for sharing the photos, Rendell!

I actually would have liked to see a collector's edition of RO for PC in Europe but at least your edition brings stickers and magnets while ours doesn't.

I might add this trivia later into Raywiki. ;)

Haruka, I've been searching first for European PC edition (since 3/4 of goods cames from Europe in our stores and trade centres, I thought that they might bought it), but unfortunately I discovered that there is no European Special Edition for PC... so sad. More to say, I found game only in few stores and it was standart Russian edition. Then I was going to order CE from Russia, but at the end of August I recieved it as a birthday present! I was very happy. :D
By the way, I may say that this edition is unique. I haven't found any other collector's edition for PC but Russian. Besides, other Russian CEs (for consoles) are same as European: thick box, hardcover artbook and soundtrack. Makes me feel special. :D

Some new update about merchandise: I knew that McDonald's Rayman on plum is a very rare toy, but I found it very quickly on eBay and already bought... and it doesn't looks roughly used. Looks almost like new?. Wow, seems like fortune loves me so much. O_o

Mine is also in very good state.

Well, it is even more hard to find the whole collection on sale than individual items.

Yeah, seems like so... but telling truth, I like only Ray on plum. Other toys from set don't attract me so much. xD

Yeah that Rayman on plum toy is pretty awesome. I managed to find a second one for myself in great condition. It's the Rayman on rocket that is giving me troubles. I've got 2 of them now and both of them are nothing I'd brag about condition-wise. :P

I feel like the Cage toy is probably the hardest to find from the McDonalds set. Ive only seen it twice. Missed out on the first one cause I missed the auctions deadline and the second one I spent too much time thinking whether or not I should have bought it considering it was on a site unknown to me.

Lucky you! I'm just worried that the older these toys get, the greater the chances of those who own the cage will just unknowingly throw it away since they probably won't remember/know the origins of the toy.

Btw, it looks like someone has decided to put up the Rayman Anniversary folder set + game thing for a ridiculously high price on eBay (I'd provide the link but I'm not sure if it's allowed or not plus anyone who may have been interested in it might get angry at me for revealing it in public :P). I've got that item too but....as much as I love Rayman products meeting inflation, this is one I feel is not worth it. Though what I don't understand is why I never purchased more of these. They were one of those items that would never get sold even when on clearance. Yea...tough times back then for Rayman. :(

I also have the cage- it's interesting but the design kinda confuses me. I don't recall seeing any red cages (possibly my ignorance again) and it seems to have a portal in it...Which may explain why the main function of the toy is to shake when you push a button.
I got it bundled with all of the other toys except Globox for about £10... The Rayman Mcdonalds toys were and still are mostly cheap, but the prices are inflating more these days- possibly because people know how popular they are getting with fans.

Also, for anyone interested, here is the ninny who bought the plush for £107: http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/thepureband
If you contact him about this then I will laugh forever. He's apparently a Rayman fan.

A badly informed one, because if he knew the real rarity and valour of the plush he wouldn't give almost as much as a Nintendo 3DS.
