Think of it as some kind of association meant to protect workers' rights, though nowadays they can often do more harm than good. Since there's been a lot of reports of harassment at Ubisoft lately, they've decided to sue the company for it.

Since he announced that he was leaving the industry to focus on his passion, and they pretend it's because of his bad behavior at Ubisoft, they obviously jumped at the opportunity to correct him. Of course, they better come up with some solid evidence because like you said he hasn't been involved in the Ubisoft debacle yet.

So basicly borderline slander by acusing him on stuff he most likely didnt do?

Not too suprised by the annoucement but the timing is somewhat annoying, I see it all too often: "Hello there I will be quiting...Right now" I can't image such a decision was made on short notice but it is always annouced as though it is, yet responsibility for current project can't be simply be relinquished at a manager's convience, that and my personal view that a lead should see a project to it's end barring absolute necessitiy (flagrant incompetence, incapacity, etc).

Why didn't I see that coming...

So because Ubisoft kicked out Serge Hascoët, the guy of Assassin's Creed Ragnarok who cheated his wife, harassers and harassers protectors, Solidaires think Michel Ancel is one of them? But since he's a great figure of the company and video games world, Ubisoft helped him to quit them without telling anything about the bad things he did?

Yes... or Michel Ancel decided to quit Ubisoft because he couldn't stand the ambiance in the company anymore. He just didn't slam the door by telling all his hate for Ubisoft.

Or maybe it's just a coincidence, Michel Ancel just decides it was time for him to leave, and he's still in good terms with Ubisoft.

Benefit of the doubt, presumption of innocence... Let's wait and not throw rocks on him without we have more concrete elements.

Yeah, let's not jump to conclusions, perhaps it's just a coincidence.

Let's not throw shade at Ancel right away, I'm dead sure he's done nothing wrong and the fact that there's no specific reason for the accusations honestly makes this sound fishy to me. :mefiant:

Not that it changes anything for the series, all we need is for Ubi to put together a team for Rayman 4. :hap:

I don't know the source, but I saw people mentioning that Michel said the original Rayman 3 team would be the best team to take up Rayman 4. And this was pretty recent statement from him too?

I mean, I'm all for it. Rayman 3 has always been my top favorite out of all the Raymans.
