ECBSJs perform slightly differently on console vs emu. No idea why, it's a super slight difference too, but it is there. Loading the game with Nintendont also acts like emu.
Yeah, that's strange. Is it also the case for the other camera buffered tricks?

Not that we can tell.

I wonder if this could be linked to how the extended superjump has limited effectiveness on PS2.

So does the regular superjump, so I'm not sure about that.

That's true, maybe it reacts differently to the multiple presses of the look mode button then (this could be caused by the controller interface).

Do you mean that there could be a physical limit to the amount of presses per second on the actual console which is of course not present on emulator?

Yes, this is the idea. I'm probably wrong though...
And congrats Mark0v1c, making good progress here!

Audio was half a second off up until DotK4/5's cutscenes, where I finally fixed the delay on OBS.
Quite a coincidence, I actually just stumbled upon Misieuroo's stream on Twitch! Nice progress too, it's good to see some activity.

This is pretty good! I wonder if No Major Glitches gets more runs than the main category.

Hi there! First time posting. It all comes down to personal preference which category a runner will play. Any% and No Major Glitches are both fun in their own way but attract a different kind of runner. Also during the biweekly races the community members can see whether or not they like to run certain categories.

My timer says 1:18:54, but after retiming the run in Premiere Pro, it looks like it is a 1:18:53.9 (up to a thirtieth of a second, which is less than 0.1 second). In fact, you can see me starting the timer a little too early.

Hi Mark0v1c and welcome to this place! Congrats on your steady progress lately, I watched your last Any% run and I thought it went really well at the time.
As for Any% versus No Major Glitches, it does indeed come down to preference! As someone who only watches runs, I find the latter more interesting, because like I said here, "most of the time [Any% is] just about getting OOB and heading to the level exit". Not that I mean to disparage Any%: it's extremely technical and some of the glitches are really hard to get, but I prefer to watch someone rush through the regular course of a level rather than attempt the same superjump dozens of times before eventually succeeding and flying through glitch world.
Since you're running both, what's your take on this? Do you have any preference from a runner's point of view?
