Yes I do mind, if I were accompanied I’d prefer a non-annoying one

I honestly want a return for Andre. He would work so well off of Globox and Rayman just because of how different all of their personalities are. It makes me wish Rayman had more quips in R3 to retaliate against Andre's nasty little remarks lol

I still just want classic Mr Dark because I feel like if they will reboot the original games they should try replicate the first game then move on to something new

That reminds me of that theory I had for why Globox begins to miss Andy. At the end of the Longest Shortcut, he calls himself "king of the doors" ("roi des gonds" in French). He probably expected on some level that André would retort with "king of the dorks" ("roi des cons" in French), and was disappointed when no such retort came. Recall that it's at the beginning of the very next map that he starts saying he misses Andy!

He missed Andy, but when he did come back to possess Globox in Hoodlums' Revenge, what happened? Didn't seem like he was happy.

You're breaking my heart here, Plum! I bet he really loved the feedback he'd always get from Andy, even if most of the time they were incredibly back-handed insults

Gosh, that whole game is such a mess when it comes to canon and plot holes. Why did they combine both Rayman 2 and 3? Why did ANYTHING in that game happen? I've been tempted to play it just to see how far off the deep-end it goes, as I've only ever seen online walkthroughs haha

I think you may be confused between Rayman 3 GBA (which mixes up R2 and R3), and Rayman Hoodlums' Revenge (which was also on GBA, but paradoxically a straightforward sequel to the non-handheld Rayman 3!)

Actually I quite like R3 GBA (which is the game you were actually describing) and Hoodlums' Revenge, though the latter one is more because of nostalgia of me finishing everything as a kid.

Wait a minute, I completely forgot they were two different games just because both use so many elements from R3. My bad! Since I never played the Gameboy games they often meld together in my mind. But I remember Hoodlum's Revenge also being quite puzzling plot-wise! I can see why you liked them, though. These games, while confusing for story, still do look very fun. As a kid I probably would have gone crazy for them too!

I've never played any of them either, but now that you mention it I do remember several people being confused about what actually happens at the climax of RHR, taking several playthroughs to understand it!
