The fact you basically admitted you prefer the action oriented scenes over the Cleverly written dialogue heavy scenes full of emotion and foreshadowing, really makes me think to myself, why are you even watching the show? The whole purpose is to see the radical change of a middle aged man who never met his full potential in life, and has had to live with that for a very long time, knowing he could have been part of a multi-billionare company that he established but dropped out of and is now living on a inadequately paid job of a High School chemistry teacher. We see his diagnosis his first attempt at killing a man, the rise of Heisenburg and the Fall of Walter White. the corrupt characters he has to deal or even work with and in some circumstances kill or manipulate, how he ultimitally changes as a normal everyday man to a corrupt, ego hungry maniac. Season 4 and 5 are the best pieces of Tv of seen in my life, ive never seen a tv show establish and develop a character as good as Walter White before, sure there is action here and there when its relevant and cohesive to the plot and actions of the characters, but what makes breaking bad so special is seeing the lives of these corrupt characters mix with these everyday, innocent people, resulting in what seems a chemical reaction where the outcome of some differs to what they previously once were. The fact you attempted to put breaking bad on the same level as Twilight kinda disgusts me, go watch the expendables 2 if your looking for no character development and just straight out mindless action. Also its the last episode of the first half of Season 5 tommorow so im in a pretty shitty mood. Also as Spiral said yeah we all hate Skyler, the illusion we are given from the start is to root for Walt but your no longer going to watch the show or take any notice or interest in its mental stabibility and relationships of characters so whatever.Rsandee wrote:I've watched 3 seasons of Breaking Bad this summer, I think it sucks.
I've seen Lost, Spartacus, Misfits, Heroes, Scrubs and Supernatural; 6 great shows without growing bored by it.
But Breaking Bad is so boring because almost every episode is the same, I actually hate making the time to go through another episode.
There's not enough science/drug dealing action, just Walt and Skyler having their endless conversations of bullshit.
Oh and I also think Skyler is the worst TV character ever, my hate for her can't be topped.
