Somehow, I get the feeling you've misinterpreted what is meant by "nail."

What other way could it be interpreted?

Nail = The pink area of your fingertip

Nail = Metal object that is usually used along with a hammer

Maybe I'm the one misinterpreting what was interpreted, and perhaps Schmooky did see that they were on about human nails, as opposed to metal nails.

I think the picture given by Ren is quite good to help people to make the difference. Seriously :tssk:

I was thinking this Image was clear enough about what we were talking (finger nails).

Ah, I see now why you'd believe that no-one would make the error I believed was being made.
That being said, common sense is not as common as we would like to believe, and it is not uncommon to have someone jump into a conversation without completely understanding what is being discussed.

Still haven't done hair and due to very hard food poisoning which happened few days ago, I haven't bought him eyes... :tssk:

Now I see you are trying to do Rayman's head! Good luck with that, it doesn't seem quite easy! ;)

Yeah, it's very hard. :D

So, I have bought eyes today and want to ask something... I have bought two kinds of eyes: solid black and with red iris. I was going to buy small black ones, but haven't found them in shop, so...
Which variant is better? I like second one more, even if Ray's eyes are not red in canon, these ones suit by size perfectly and also would look harmoniously with orange hair.

I also would say that you should put the 2nd kind, even if the red colour doesn't depict loyally to the real iris colour.

Firstly, this plush looks awesome so far. :D
Secondly, I like the design of 2 much better, but imo it'd be better if it were a blue/dark blue to look more like Rayman's actual eye colour, like Haruka said.

At the end of the day, though, it's your plush. If you're liking the idea of using 2 then go for it. :D

I think the second is definitely better, though I'm not so sure I'm fond of the iris. It's mainly the size I prefer.

Looking good, reading back, it appears you'll be employing R3 style hair, right?

Hmmm, I'm still not really sure... I tried to make RO-style Rayman actually.
