You see if I were to present this at my public school, I'd probably be laughed at like crazy, everyone here has no taste in gaming... if you don't play "call of duty" here, then you aren't a gamer apparently. My school fucking sucks...

Actually nobody commented the presentation, they were probably shocked for my easiness of talking about the games without any paper guides and my videogame taste. I was always put in side by them anyway, they weren't liking me for some reason but I wasn't giving a care either. I did this work for my English mark, not to please them.

In my class, nobody ever comments on presentations either. I don't know whether they just don't care, they're not interested in the subjects people present, or they're too shy to ask questions. It may be an age-thing.

I wish Rayman was more popular in Japan. Only PS1 and Saturn versions were released of first game and Rayman 2 was only on Dreamcast and PS2, while other countries got Rayman on many platforms. Rayman 3 was only on PC in Japan and they did not bother translating game at all. They just changed Game Cover with Japanese letters but game is exactly same as in any other country. Rayman Arena and Rayman M were never released in Japan

Kinda normal, as the forum was created by French people, and moreover advertising in France about Rayman is pretty strong, especially since the RRR serie. Add to this that many Rayman games are produced in France at Ubisoft Montpellier/Montreuil and Ancel being french, it's not so astonishing France is second in this poll.

However, most people who are currently playing Rayman in France are because they have discovered the character with RRR and RO. True fans are not so numerous in France.

I wonder whether Portugal is not in the poll : Haruka has a strong enough place in the community in order to make this country in the poll by herself

Unfortunately Rayman isn't as popular as Mario, Sonic or Ratchet and Clank in the branch of platforming games. Its peak of popularity in Portugal was back in 2000 and 2001, thanks to the PlayStation Slim packs that included Rayman 1, and also because of the N64, PS and DC copies of Rayman 2: The Great Escape and the Rayman Revolution game released for PlayStation 2. After this, Rayman gradually lost his popularity and almost no one knows him (or associates now with the Rabbids). This probably explains why it is relatively difficult finding copies in game shelves from stores, people don't buy them. It saddens me.

Rayman needs more popularity worldwide. Hopefully, Legends will sell really good everyware.

Living in France, I have to agree, when I talk about the Rayman series I mostly get "Oh, it's the game with the bunnies/rabbits?" as a reply. And when I ask them if they ever heard about Rayman 1 or 2 (and sometimes the third) they have absolutly no idea about what I'm talking about. I actually find very few people who actually know the older games, and when they do, it's mostly a game they have played in their childhood (so they have very few memories) and let it taking dust or selling it after. This is kinda sad. ^^;

So yeah, french people mostly know about the Rabbits series or RO.
