Out of curiosity, are you even at all interested in the Vita library? Aside from being able to play PS1 games, it has a rather vague library that is mainly up to taste.

Speaking of Vita and Memory Cards, I got like a month ago original Japanese 64bit PS Vita Memory Card. Now I can store many clasics
Anyways back on Oddworld topic, Lorne posted this really cool picture on Facebook:

Wow, I hadn't released that it was the 18th birthday of the franchise. Abe needs some congratulations!

Indeed. He became an adult now
I would really love to be able to celebrate and play New 'N' Tasty but my current graphics card cannot handle it

Ok, so I beat tonight Oddworld New 'N' Tasty PS3 version 100% with all trophies. All I have to say is that it is experience I never want to repeat again. Seriousely, this has to be worst PS3 port for any game ever. Even Sonic 06 minus the loading times runs better on PS3.
First of all, I dunno why but framerate is really bad making some sections (especially Elum ones) barely playable. I thought it was maybe my PS3 at first but it seems that people with also newer PS3's like Haruka have same issue regarding framerate. I would rather prefer stable framerate in PS3 version even if it means to make game be graphically downscaled. Gameplay > graphics. They should release patch that fixes framerate issues and I must say I am worried for upcoming Wii U port considering that performance on Wii U games that are ports is sometimes bad. (I am unsure why are they even still developing it for Wii U when game is almost 2 years old since original release date and Wii U is getting outdated this year. Even if it runs flawlessly it would not sell that good.)
Second issue is that game tends to crash a lot. Critical parts are when you enter in any temple. I thought it was maybe once an error but upon replaying game on seperate file it happens on same places and I read online that many people have same issues.
Third issue is trophy glitches. I had serious issue with the one where I was supposed to kill 99 Mudokons. I only got it when I killed 200 and some people experience even worse issues with trophies.
Bottom line, thank god that I purchased game when it was on discount and costed $8 because full price is a rip-off. Game in this condition should not be allowed on PS Store and Sony should have instead pressured devs to fix issues. Leaderboards are broken too and also Alf's Escape DLC is missing I mean wtf?
For enjoyable play, PC or PS4 version only and probably Xbox One as well.

This is why I am happy to be a PC player. The fun part is that even the Wii U port, which was released yesterday, manages to be played without choppy framerate from what I've seen in non-official gameplay videos.

I guess delaying the Wii U port really paid off in the end. Perhaps if same was done with PS3 situation would be different. But PS3 version was rushed because many people complained due to fact that it was PS4 exclusive for some time. I think it would have been better if game as a whole was delayed for all systems till they made sure it is optimized for every system and then released it at same time for all platforms. Or they could have ignored people that pressured PS3 porting to be fast and release it later. It is clear that NNT was mainly for current gen systems and not last gen which means a good amount of time and patience is needed in order to make sure that it works good on weaker hardware.

Dunno, glancing over the website makes the game sound like a completely new thing, though.

Soulstorm was the original name for Oddworld: Abe's Oddyssey.
>Soulstorm, the highly volatile new game from Oddworld, is slated to explode in the latter half of 2017.
Can't wait
