No, I and my brother just started mixing up our sets and came to a point were we had no idea which part belongs to which set, and started to loose stuff and shit.

To be fair, I had many many toys, which I can't think about them anymore, because I sold most of them in fleamarkets during my childhood.

That's what my brother and I did with our lego-toys:
At first we built the originals and played a lot with them
Then we used the parts for building our own creations

We had two giant boyes where we kept all our lego-parts - And they were really big : 3

Well, but yeah, it all got sold... But I still have two dragons which I built by myself when I was young :)

My mom also threw away the card boxes of R2TGE (PC, North American version with fancy texture in the artwork) and Croc 2 (PC) one day while I was not at home during my childhood, I got pretty upset.

I revenged years later by rebuying a boxed Croc 2 PC version and the boxed European UK PC version of R2TGE. At least for Croc 2's case I got a spare copy that has got no disc scratches (my original disc is scratched and somehow survived to my childhood) and the same thing applies for R2TGE. Shame that the NA version is more difficult to find boxed.

All my game boxes I collected and that I tried to make clear were valuable to me are gone as well. I would never throw away shit like that on my kid if I had one, it's downright insulting.

I just went out, into the freezing cold, at 11 at night, to buy Lewa. I think I might havee an addiction.

Then again I've also been out at 3 in the morning just to buy really bad cookies.
I'm actually beginning to wonder if there's a dedicated Bionicle topic lurking somewhere in the archives.

To be honest, it just hurts me a lot reading that people destroy such rarity goodness.

Basically, that's my fear to what could happen to my entire Rayman Collection, that's why I need to give it up.

Has anyone here ever watched this short film?

It was a documentation about Boroks as far as I can remember... But I'm not sure if I'm correct. I can't watch it because I don't have the player which is required for this ^^"
But what I know is that my brother and me were both fascinated by it :P

:o If I had the funds and the will I'd take it off your hands, we've still got a VHS player. Bohroks are my favourite, they're so cute.
BG will beat me to the punch though :P

Seems like it. It's very unlikely to be a Laserdisc for sure :P

I just cracked up right here  ! Really? Wow... I remember when I did a similar thing in 2009: I went crazy and decided to walk by foot from my house to the local hypermarket alone (+3KMs of distance) in purpose to buy Pokémon SoulSilver and I did this without my parents knowing. I caught a mishap in the return because my mom returned, worried where I was and by a lot of luck she did not ask me to show the inside of my shoulderbag or else I would be caught. Since I didn't trust in luck and knew that something like this could happen I had a camera with me and took some photos in the way. It happened to be my salvation because I showed the machine to her and explained it was "for a schoolwork involving buildings and structures". :oops2:

I never saw that VHS.

Here:

Haruka: I guess it wasn't that known because it was only a 15-minutes film about the legend everybody already knows and some informations about the boroks (mainly their attacks, I think)

My brother told me that he's sure that he also has the VHS from the real movie lying somewhere in his room OwO

I did not know there was a BIONICLE topic before. Maybe if the mods don't mind, they could move the BIONICLE discussions from this topic to the other one?
