I mean, rayman 1 is a really linear game

It's a lot of trial and error, and it evolves as new strategies are discovered, but in the case of Rayman 1 I'm pretty sure it hasn't changed in many years, making it just a matter of execution.

I’m pretty sure a game-breaking speedrun glitch was found recently, kinda the barrier skip of rayman speed runs

Yeah, I did not mention it as it's so game-breaking it basically gave birth to a whole new category.

Yeah, it doesn’t necessarily require much skill though

I'm not even sure how it really works but it doesn't look very interesting to me, especially when compared to a standard run of the game.
