Indeed he was, but I think he'd been wanting to do something different for a very long time, and was simply tired of Rayman. That's why it ended up being 100% gameplay-focused, with no lore, slapstick humor and, of course, pig latin.

All terribly true

I guess Origins was probably the first thing he worked on after the original BG&E2 project was canned, so he went completely in the opposite direction…

Well, that gives me more hope that things will be different this time around!

It plays great, and I overall enjoyed it! But it misses important things to feel like a Rayman game to me.

I've been doing the same for a couple weeks, and it's definitely worth it as some aspects of the game take a bit of time to get used to. I haven't gotten very far though, as I don't have much time to play it.

Indeed he was, but I think he'd been wanting to do something different for a very long time, and was simply tired of Rayman. That's why it ended up being 100% gameplay-focused, with no lore, slapstick humor and, of course, pig latin.

I couldn't agree more guys. Origins still good if you consider it a reboot.

Actually, it was on this forum the whole time. Thats's probably why I remember it so well, and not from RaymanZone. The thread in question is gold.

Or maybe they're going to reveal Rayman to be a Teensy, his real name to be Erohay, and he'll turn out to be the main antagonist in the DLC?
