No, not really, it just depends on your taste and what you like, and if you, for some reason enjoy playing Crash Bash (as awful as it is) that's fine, it's just that no other members that I know of including me ACTUALLY ENJOY the game.

This footage however reveals that there's an art gallery and a picture named "Collection of Heroes". Maybe this picture sends you to the place where you choose your character. They just ignored it. Looks like every reviewer who has the pleasure to try this jewel focuses on the same thing... the Castle Rock level.

Yes, please. These guys were just too much focused on the console itself, though I'm glad to hear that they think that the gamepad is confortable and feels natural in their hands
I was able to take a screen of the Collection of Heroes picture:
Well, by this I can tell that the skins are back, a lot of skins.
Looks like there's a skin of Rayman wearing a... winged helmet? and globox with a leaf on his head? There are some teensies in the background too...
However, there are still figures that I cannot recognize... like those Psychlops-shaped characters in the background...
My biggest fear is that the 5 new unlockable characters are Barbara's sisters.... I see a lot of helmets in that picture....

If Rayman was wearing a helmet with wings I would think it would be a reference to Asterix.

The Romans could be the Robo-Pirates, or the Livingstones themselves. Imagine the possibilities.

Indeed.
About Crash : I found all the PS1 Games just awesome (yes CB and CTR don't have real story but they are really fun in multiplayer, surely two of the best PS1 multiplayer games, especially CTR). I spent days and days playing CTR with my brothers and my father (4 playing at the same time it was crazy) and I completed Cortex Strikes Back by my own I was so proud of it (considering the time I spent on it in order to find the fucking 42th diamond ). At least Crash runs fast like a stoopid dumbass and I love it. And I prefer it instead of a fucking plumber that takes his time in every situation and fights the same bad guy forever and ever and ever and ever (sorry Bowser, but you are getting on my nerves...). What i really enjoyed in CTR was how the controls were immersive ( well they were not realistic, but at least you learnt fast how to "feel" your kart).
As I didn't play the PS2 games (CTTR excepted) I can't share my opinion about them (WOC and Twinsanity seem to be good values). CTTR REALLY sucks when compared to CTR and even if I haven't played CTR I would say this game is a big piece of shit.
Now, back on topic :
That would be interesting to have an entire video of the game. The ones we have almost all show the same thing : the forest level and the run levels.

If it turns out that Babara has sisters i would be very relieved! I feel its better that Babara isnt a secluded random character and it may turn out they play a role somewhat as the fairies did with one in each world

No, just no. Adding sisters is just an excuse to be a lazy artist and simply recolour already drawn characters. Those were my thoughts on the nymphs in the previous games, except for Edith Up. They just take a character and change their hair or their dress, then they cross they fingers hoping that we're too stupid to notice. It's simply... mediocre.
I'm starting to see the recolour problem in Legends too, particularly because of the muscular enemies. There are the green ones in Castle Rock, the Clark-like ones in Orchestral Chaos, the Frankenstein one in the cover of the Nintendo Power magazine, and the Minoutaur. They're all the same enemy with small details changed.
EDIT: Michel Ancel said this about BG&2 recently
“[Laughs] I think the Wii U GamePad could be used nicely as a camera… [Laughs] No, to be honest, I’m really focused on Rayman Legends right now. I’m surprised how much of our energy it’s taking because I expected it to be an easier game to make. But because of the Wii U GamePad, we’re really focusing on this one. I can’t talk about what the next game will before us because it’s not set in stone yet, so I guess I don’t have a better answer for you. Sorry! [Laughs]“ - Michel Ancel
Does that mean it is confirmed for Wii U? the idea of the camera sounds great in my opinion!

I can see what you're getting at but i don't like Barbara enough as it is and if she's not apart of another group then she'll be tagging along through the series... thats a big no.

And imagine if all of Barbara's skins were just her with clothes in other color and they say they're her sisters

Because of the delaying Ubi should have time to fix the things which were problems in RO, for example make enemies more powerful (not killed by only 1 hit), and forget stupid skins but put instead CHARACTERS, like Clark and Uglette.
Btw about that Asterix comparison: Raysterix and Globelix.
