I usually dislike haircuts. I only need a trim from time to time.

Anyways, I like my hair thinner and less curly, longer as well. Whenever I shower my hair gets too thick and curly and it bothers me fair too much. Hate having short hair as well.

I hate having long hair honestly because my hair keeps curling when it gets in contact with water and then I looks like a lion-sheep because I have lot of hair. It also gets often in my eyes so that's not helping. Sadly I can't have my hair the way I want because my parents are obligating me to have it like this.

I have a similar problem. My parents always want my hair short because they don't like it "long". It's stupid.

My parents wont let me get it shorter because I'm a girl and I don't understand that. I hate having it down half my back.

You know your philosophy is unnecessary when it's something even the Bible doesn't have anything against.

I like my hair to be relatively long, but then it gets excruciatingly messy to deal with.

Try cutting your hair yourself a bit. Then they woul probably freak out and tell you that you look horrible and then you will have to go to hair stylist, they like it or not. But honestly I prefer long hair. I am never getting short hair again.

I consider myself lucky that my mother loves long hair too so I never argued with her about it and my father was always neutral. Even when I was under 18 he said: "Your hair is your hair"

I go through phases of preferring long hair and then short hair. Right now I'm fond of my short hair; I tend to get tired of long hair quicker though as it severely impacts my peripheral vision.

I must admit it, I used to be like you are now when I was around your age and even younger, until one day I looked at all my pictures with short hair and realized how bad it looked on me. Not saying short hair looks bad in general, It just did on me.

as long as my vision isn't distorted i keep my hair fairly long.

Thats why I cut my bangs.

Hm, yeah, I'm constantly being told I should shave my head to the point where its nearly bald. It looks horrible.

I get a little grief when my hair is too long and messy, but I'm not usually forced into a style.

If I do that they are going to take away my laptop. Plus I have no idea how to cut my hair, its always my mom doing it because she don't want me to cut it.

That is really unfair. Well, I can't speak about your situation but I know I would not let anyone treat me like that.
