My favorite Mario Kart was the n64 one, a lot of people freaking loved Double Dash, I wasn't a fan though, the camera was extremely confusing for me in it.

And like I had said before, my favourite Mario Kart was the DS one. I don't really like Double-Dash a whole lot either.
At the moment I'm playing through Majora's Mask; just finished Woodfall Temple.
I'm actually going to model the Moon into CryEngine and create an awesome crashing scene. /free time

I actually kind of like the music for Wario's Shipyard, since it includes little bits of the theme from Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3. Musical references like that always work well with me
I think the MK7 soundtrack as a whole is not bad at all though. I can't think of any tracks with sub-par music. Do you have any more examples, Keane?

The music misses that chirpy upbeat tune that I'm so fond of in Mario Kart games. It just sounds like a shipyard - they got that right - but it doesn't feel like a race anymore.

The only thing I have against the DS version is that it completely destroyed all the cool little shortcut bits that made most of the Retro tracks so interesting. You can see where they fenced off the area in Delfino Square - and I'm sure you were once able to go up the Mushroom Bridge (and even into the Warp Pipe? That part's a little fuzzy). For the rest, I agree, it's amazing.

You totally need to show me that, sounds freaking awesome!

Mario Kart 7 is a good game but I was expecting much more. My favourite track in there is without doubts the Melody Motorway (Imagine a Rayman Kart with this kind of music in Band Land!).
My favourite Mario Kart was the DS one. The missions and the ranking were simply perfect to create more longevity in single-player mode and at the same time to improve your karting skills. The race tracks were great too, I like a good number from this game.
The one I probably like less from the ones I've tried is Mario Kart 64. Sure, it was the first Mario Kart I ever played and I remind spending hours playing it, but my enjoyment changed completely after trying the DS and Wii versions. Now it feels boring, short and easy. The Virtual Console version doesn't even own the Ghost mode.
The Wii version disappointed me in the excessive difficulty level in 150cc and Mirror mode (Did you see how high it seems the ratio of Blue Shells?), and the fact that bikes are actually better than karts and difficult to master (But that's me since I'm quite used to the manoeuvres of the karts). Then what's the point of "Mario Kart"?
Double-Dash is one of my least favourites too along with 64: it also suffers the same problem of excessive difficulty level and the difficulty to drift the karts correctly. I like the concept of two players in a kart, and you being able to co-op with friends but I don't find a reason to improve the game a lot.

I find I have that trouble with all Mario Karts.

I love the game for that feature. The two-player gaming was so much fun for me in the past, that this remains one of my favourite. Also the shortcuts that were omitted in the DS ports of the levels that came from this version are fun to use and add to the racing strategy. And I love the Chainchomp weapon.

As Adsolution here already knows quite well, I have been playing the shit out of Zelda Windwaker on the Dolphin Emulator, I'm not much into emulation, and I do own a legitimate copy of Zelda Windwaker, but I thought it'd be cool to try it out on PC. As of now, I'm nearly finished with the game, just need to search for the triforce shards in order to enter the final temple.

I heard its a best-seller from GameCube.
I'm still in the way of the Star-Coins in NSMBU, and trying out the Challenges section.

Oh yes I recommend it, me and Adsolution have both been in a huge Zelda hiatus lately like crazy! Rayfan has been tackling Majoras mask (which she finished) and such, while I'm here playing through WindWaker, it has been a great weekend of gaming for me.

If I ever did have a PC capable of emulating GCN games, the one I'd try out is Metroid Prime, I've been raring to try out a 3D Metroid title for a while.

Please, suggest me something to play. I've played Mario Kart for the SNES today and I really suck at everything due to not playing anything for a long time.

I can suggest Croc: Legend of the Gobbos for anybody who enjoyed Rayman 2: The Great Escape. Its worth trying, trust me.

Emulator, or legit? I own a legit cartridge, if snes games is what you're looking for though, go for Super Mario World 1 or 2(Yoshi's Island) both fantastic games!

Yoshi's Island is really a worth trial, its one of the best 2D Platformers I've ever played.

Ah, Yoshi's Island I believe is my favourite Mario platformer. It's just brilliant. The music, the gameplay, the level design, the artwork, all top-notch.
I just received my copy of Rayman Brain Games in the mail today, the only problem is that I lack a 7.5 volt power cable for my PSOne, They're extremely hard to find for some reason, and the only one I found online would cost me fifty bucks. But yeah, I'll be playing that as soon as I can.

Rayman Brain Games... Is that Math and English with Rayman combined?

I think those are entirely different games (correct me if I'm wrong), but yes, it does have both of those subjects.

I believe its the equivalent of Rayman Junior in UK.
Really, Yoshi's Island is a platform perfection from the decade of 90s. The unique graphism, the gameplay, the longevity, the music (I love the soundtrack)... Its a very strong game.
