The truth is in here they sell for the triple of the price they buy used games.

But in DVDs it is natural existing price cuts. Before I used to buy a DVD right in the release but now I don't do that: I prefer to wait at least 6 months/1 year because the DVD in this period of time lows down often from 20€ to 10€. Quite a bargain.

I remember once catching up How To Train Your Dragon in Blu-Ray for 9,99€ while the DVD was in 12,99€. Guess what I've picked!

I suggest that as soon as you're old enough, sue each of your siblings for unlimited pounds, and then burn MW2. If that had happened to me, I would have ripped out my own heart on compulsion, but I feel this is a much better solution.

Well...
it went in an ongoing circle, MW2 was eventually sold on.
Then came Black Ops.
Then, after selling Ratchet And Clank All 4 One (which was bought by trading in BO), came MW3.

I still respect the franchise, but GOD, why do I always lose out to it?

Because Rayman simply isn't as popular as CoD. The unrealistic popular shooter franchise's fans who tend to be assholes are just there to kill time, and what better way to kill time than with guns?

The thing with buying stuff is that you don't pay for the product; you pay for the newness of it. When a game comes out, it'll most likely be around 59,99 euros. Then after only a month, it drops to 49,99. After half a year, it's already gone down to 29,99 and after a few years it ends up in the basket of 5,00 euro games. The decay times of these prices varies with the company that published them though. EA tends to keep its prices up.

It's not Rayman that I've lost out heavily on due to CoD, and if my sibling dare try to sell my copy of RO, he will have WAR.
But I've lost many other classics, like the Jak series, which I shall be getting the HD collection.

OMG you reminded me that maybe Rayman 3D is in the second-hand section in a really low price!

I'm super happy 'cuz I just got this game for my iPod this afternoon. I know the controls suck, but there was no other way I was able to get my hands on a copy of this game.

So far, I'm liking it - I haven't gotten very far with it, but sucky controls aside, it's very fun.

Seems like I can get Rayman 3D for just 22,95€

I had no problem with the controls. Are you sure you're doing it right?

Well, I guess I'm just not comfortable playing without a real joystick, you know? xD Someday I might get it for the Nintendo 64, which I would probably have an easier time on (since I practically grew up on 64).

This Saturday I got invited for a birthday, and the boys were having fun playing Uncharted 3 in co-op. Yeah, killing time. I preferred to sit in a corner and play Rayman 3D.

I'm not insulting Uncharted 3 by the way, but the fact it had gun shooting parts, it had.

I actually love shooters, I just hate games like CoD, where the community is basically the reason why every game is the same as the last. If you think about it, it's hard to blame the developers.

I like playing CoD sometimes,but my thing are platformers,more like Crash Bandicoot or Rayman.I'd sit in a corner and play R3D too,I think...

I like a variety of different games, my favourite probably being platformers.
That hasn't stopped from liking games in these genres:
Puzzle
Racing
FPS
3rd Person Shooters (3PS/TPS)
Party (now and then)
RPG
Sandbox
Top-down shooters.

And probably a few more.

I do wish there'd be a properly done Rayman 2 HD, as whilst it's refreshing to see R3 get remade, R2 is my second favourite in the franchise and I think it should get the proper treatment rather than flimsy ports.

My favourite genre are the Platformers, but I also enjoy Puzzle and Strategy ones.

Now for RPGs, my only exceptions are PKMN and Mario. Party games and racing games, only Mario (and Rayman M/Arena/Rush).

I have it on my iPhone, and the controls are just as sucky. So yeah, been there.
