Dango is tied second now :O
I was hoping Matdragon would be in a kilt for this oneMatyuv wrote:Rapidly moved the cursor over the options and voted randomly. Seems like Dango got my vote.
In this competition as in this theme or the whole SOTM?Mr. Dark Thingamajig wrote:Serza will never, ever get my vote in this competition.
Holy crap, someone's being ultimately decisive today.Mr. Dark Thingamajig wrote:Serza will never, ever get my vote in this competition.
No, Yes, No...Just look at her sig, have you seen what a disgrace? England is the second best place in the world after The Kingdom of the Netherlands and then she created a sig like that.Shrooblord wrote:And biased? What's up, MDT? Grudge against Serza?
Are you sure? Immediate studies show that people usually don't orally speak a second language second language as clearly as they think they do.Shrooblord wrote:And biased? What's up, MDT? Grudge against Serza?
Since it's vaguely appropriate to talk about this with this theme active, I went to see Brave yesterday - loved it throughout - and was able to fully imitate the Scottish accents at time of the first break. I only have to sit in with someone talking for thirty minutes to be able to replicate their dialect.
Mind, English isn't my second language. It's my second first language. I'm literally split in half when it comes to my two languages; as soon as I cross the border, I automatically switch into English thinking without even noticing. I think in English and in Dutch every day and I guess I have tried my hand at Scottish a couple of times before, so that might explain why I could do it so well in such a short time. Mind you, I wouldn't be able to do it as nicely right now as I could yesterday - I'd need to listen to a couple of sentences of a real scottish accent (not those loud-mouthed phoney accents as portrayed in cartoons) again to do that.RayFan9876 wrote:Are you sure? Mister have you ever thought about the fact that i'm joking? It's a well known fact that the English and the Scots don't get along so why not joke about it? Also please keep your opinions out of whether my sig is good or not.Mr. Dark Thingamajig wrote:No, Yes, No...Just look at her sig, have you seen what a disgrace?
