Raving Rabbids 1 isn't that bad.

Rayman is SMELLY. He doesn't shower, or bathe. You know who does? NOT RAYMAN.

I remember having a lot of fun with that game, but it was truly a disappointment when the game finished once Rayman got out of the prison... I don't know, I just wanted to see the limbless hero smacking all of them down.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I don't think they were ever intended to be canon, they were just jokish "campfire tales", as Elite once eloquently put it. It's like silly stories people tell kids about how clouds are fluffy sheep who got too light and floated up in the air

It's… grand. For what it is. Which is not what everyone expected it to be at launch day, based on the trailers and hype. The game itself is fine, it's just the bait-and-switch that still makes me angry to this day!

I know, but sadly I've seen people who genuinely believe it's canon in the recent years and I'm very confused about the way these people think.

Ah yes, I do remember one such person among our number

The scrapped subtitles (found by RayCarrot) helped to convey the tone, and were what finally convinced me that we don't need to worry about them

Yeah, I saw RayCarrot's video with the subtitles, and thankfully it made me worry a lot less about all this heresy.
