My musical tastes range around Metal and Rock and their subgenres, like Industrial Metal, (Symphonic) Black Metal, Pirate Metal, Indie Rock and the Classic one. Let's say that they're my main favourite genres.
I can sometimes listen to other genres, depending if the song catches my interest (I tend to be very selective when it comes to single songs) and tend to be very limited to early 2000's pop and rap.
Lately getting into Electro Swing and Indie music like Caravan Palace, The Decemberists, Voltaire's Lair, The Cog is Dead and such.

I enjoy plenty of different styles of music, but by far my favourite would be rock and its subgenres, mostly from the 90's and 2000's
I'm a HUGE fan of the faster, heavier types (grunge, punk, metal, etc.), not so much stuff like soft rock or folk rock
Other genres I like include ska, hip-hop, electronica, even classical
My favourite bands are The Offspring and Foo Fighters

I forgot to mention this, but the vast majority of the songs I listen to are videogame music. I do listen to lots of other kinds of songs also, but VGM is the one I listen to most of the time. There's just something about VGM specifically that makes me come back to it a lot more than other types of music that I can't put my finger on.

Videogame music is what I'm mostly listening to these days. Today's music is not to my taste really.

Mainly, videogame music. But, for actual genres of music. I do like chiptune, hip-hop, jazz, rock, synthwave and house at times. I have been getting into the likes of lo-fi though. That stuff is pretty cool.

I listen to whatever I think sounds great.
It's mostly soundtracks and popular hits like Linkin Park.

I've gone through a few phases of liking different genres which have all piled on top of each other over the years.
I remember when I was younger I would listen to a mish mash of soundtracks from the videogames I played and whatever my family would listen to, which was usually stuff like The Beatles and Bowie, and some classical and jazz. Then in secondary school I had a friend who listened to a lot of hip hop which I'd never really given a chance to before, and I acquired a taste for old-school/alternative rap. Then later on in Uni I went through a solid phase of listening to a lot of prog rock. I also started composing my own tunes inspired by the music I was listening to, all of which I did in a chiptune style since the old videogame music aesthetic still holds an extra pecial place in my heart. More recently I've been binging baroque music, mostly Bach's, which has had a huge influence on my own composing.
So basically my favourite genres are old-school alt hip hop, jazz, prog rock and classical/baroque. And I still love chiptune

My musical taste is incredibly varied. My favourite decade would have to be the 1980s. Artists like Boy George, Annie Lennox, Enya and Cyndi Lauper have all been wonderful inspiration for me. I don't think there is any genre of music I hate. In terms of Rayman music, I think my favourites are the Picture City music from Rayman 1 and the Teensie Highway music from Rayman 3.

I think everyone likes a few older songs, it's probably why people call them the golden oldies!

Once again, my music taste fluctuates a lot, so it’s hard to pinpoint.
Nowadays, though, i find myself listening to ambient. Which is nice, i love harsh electronic music, but it’s just nice to listen to something more mellow and calming sometimes.
I’m listening to these ambient albums : GAS - Pop, Hiroshi Yoshimura - Surround, Susumu Yokota - Symbol and some Brian Eno albums, of course.
Anyways, what i really just wanted to share, is this :
This person right here has some sweet electronic music mixes on their channel. Though they don’t always put the tracklist in the description, so you have to dig up the comments just to find the song you want (or ask in the comments yourself)
