Isn't Soulstorm the remake of Exoddus?

It is, as their press text confirms. They were doing hints too with promotion images of Exoddus on their Twitter page.

I am genuinely hyped for this game, definitely a day-one purchase . Exoddus was the best arc of Oddworld so I have very high expectations!

soulstorm came out, it fucking sucked

yeah and it probably killed the series. A real shame. They should've played it safe and just remade Abe's Exoddus (their best game!).
