Good luck. It would be nice to have .jar file of Rayman Garden.

Don't worry, if I succeed in my attempt I'll send to you the application. In the rest you think that if I wasn't selling my Trium Eclipse could have already tried!
I know how much you care about Rayman Garden, I see that often you write about it, and also I like it very much.

I happen to want a Rayman RPG game with the gameplay style of Mario & Luigi (or for some of you guys Paper Mario). Hell, I might even start it myself if I want.

Rayman and Globox doing "bros" attacks together? So many possibilities how that will play out :P

@Bred That was an idea discussed before but we arrived to the conclusion it wouldn't work a lot. Where was that discussion by the way?

I'm pretty sure it was earlier in this thread, though as RPG is a three letter word, I can't search for it using the forum tools.

Using Google, we've got a dedicated thread: viewtopic.php?t=5774
Ah ha, got it: viewtopic.php?p=717865#p717865

I see that was discussed before I joined, but still, I must say I am with Brad and Gwee on this one and I strongly disagree that Rayman RPG would not work. Let's think about it for a moment. When we do not count Mario RPG's, Mario games are really simple in terms of characters, story, gameplay, yet Mario RPG's had such amazing characters, story and battle system. If it is possible to transform one of the most simple yet fun platformers into RPG, Rayman would work too. Not to mention that unlike Mario, older Rayman games in series already had serious story. Heck, a slightly modified R2 Story could work for Rayman RPG. Just add that Rayman finds Globox earlier and that Globox has Origins persona where he is not a coward and BAM! Great 2 player battle system against pirates, saving Teensies and whatnot, special moves to progress through game and a lot of fun. I don't care if such game would be called Mario and Luigi rip-off, I would fully support it.

To tell the truth I agree with you too, it's a sin that the RPG style has been little considered in Rayman series.

Anyway, I open a little parenthesis saying that Globox is not a coward.
In Rayman 2 Globox was not coward, but quite the opposite. Bring powers to Rayman making catch himself by Robot-Pirates, helps him with the rain dance and, basing on manual of Rayman 2, helps Rayman during an early fight when the Robot-Pirates besiege the forest, however, once captured, the same Rayman tells him to run away and go to Ly.

Only in Rayman 3 have made it appear more fearful.

About the fear, the fear exists. It is also part of the character and it's nothing to be ashamed... as Rayman himself says to Globox in the level The Canopy after soon Globox gives him other power.

I'm sorry that you had this so radical idea on Globox.

Though, I wouldn't want just Rayman or Globox. I would like more party members as well, such as Teensies and the Princesses as well. Maybe only have two party members at a time (if we're going for the Mario & Luigi series formula) and combine different types of characters for different attack combinations. The story can take place after Legends and well... that's all I got. The battle system will work like the Mario RPGs, especially with the counter attacks.

If South Park can make one of the best JRPGs of this generation, I can't see why not Rayman.

I am glad to see that RPG idea is more welcome by members than before.
@todpole
Heck, Ubisoft was already involved with South Park, so Rayman RPG would be epic.

I just still want the fabeled Rayman 4 to come out, you know the cancelled prototype, or atleast a new 3D Rayman game, I liked Origins and wanna get Legends but there's something it just can't match...

I really liked the 3D animation of the E3 trailer of 2013 for Legends, it looked really good and I wouldn't mind seeing a 3D game like that, I'd actually have a heart attack if it was announced! But Rayman 4 is definitely my dream game and has been for years, and when I saw the cancelled prototype and all the art for it, I felt really sad that it was cancelled, it could've been so amazing!

Just imagine places like Picture City and band land in 3D! Crisp beautiful HD 3D!

Things I'd like to see in Rayman 4 or any new 3D Rayman game:
- Beautiful magical fairy tail like atmospheres.
- All the cancelled stuff from Rayman 4
- The eerie dark tone of Rayman 2 in some places.
- All the surreal levels from Rayman 1 in 3D and with some bonuses! (Circus land, Beauty products land etc etc!)
- CGI cutscenes and splendid music, and possibly re-made osts from the older games.
- 3D platforming to it's maximum, pretty much bringing 3D platforming back the way it should be.
- Seeing old villians such as Mr.Dark and Razorbeard return, since they never actually have been confirmed dead.
- The ability to switch between magic fist and telescopic fist.
- A whole bunch of new power ups and upgrades which can be obtained by getting lums etc, similair to Revolution.
- Lums! LOADS AND LOADS OF LUMS! And I don't mean like Origins, but actually seeing the red, yellow, blue, green lums etc etc return in their respecticable amount.
- Tings possibly returning too, as a collectable to get lives, but other than that not needed, perhaps for seperate upgrades that you cannot get for lums.
- Lee, Globox, Betilla and pretty much all the classic pre-Origin characters returning (Obviously Polokus in his 2 design)
- An actual explanation why everyone in Rayman 1 was limbless, and not just changing it.
- A storybook if you complete more parts of the game to know about the Rayman world and learning everything about it, just like in some ports of Rayman 2.

This might be heavily influenced by the first 2 Rayman games so it might be a bit bias, although I still LOVE Rayman 3 don't get me wrong.

They'll probably release a third RO sequel. Personally, I love the idea of a sequel to Rayman M with new characters and a proper online mode. Maybe there could be more racers per race, like 8 or something? Just to spice things up a bit. A new 3D platformer would be awesome as well.

Given the need to package online modes with games, why not get two birds with one stone, as I believe the phrase goes?

About an evenutal Rayman RPG... I don't think that JRPG is the best idea...

A more action oriented game (but with ruolistic features) would be better and funnier IMHO.

To resume what you said, you want an ideal new Rayman game based upon what was good in the first ones and what wasn't in them.

Pretty much in a way, yes. However I'd like the smooth Rayman 3 control.
