I would probably count my mom going away to a business trip as a plus. This is what happened yesterday (and what a normal conversation is like with her):
I get home from a two hour long dark and rainy travel home from school (one hour on the bus, then fifteen minutes on the skytrain and then 45 minutes on foot). It took extra long because of bad traffic. Once I get home I have to leave in half an hour for a music lesson, so I say "nobody ask me to do anything til after I get back," implying that I'm tired and wet and my mom says "K'." I go to my room and then five minutes later I hear "CHERYL!! IT'S TIME TO WASH THE DISHES!" And I reply "but you just agreed-" and then she launches into a rage fit about how 'ungrateful' I am and how much 'stress' I 'cause' her, even though I stay completely out of her way and never ask anything of her unless it's something along the lines of "hi," or "so what's on the schedule?"

- This was a messy day at school. Polish "exam'o'writeup" gone not well, and stuff on lessons existing or not gone crazier then Rayman Origins.
