Hey everyone! It's been a while since I last logged on. How is everyone doing now that we're exiting winter and entering spring? Are you guys keeping up with your New Years' resolutions?

Honestly it's been a bit of a mess. Needed to heal after some unsavory experiences but I know I'll always come back here! I love the community too much lol

Hiya there! I’m doing pretty fine, i’ll really miss winter, though
As for the resolution… Well, i want to do a lot of stuff this year, but to be perfectly honest, i have no idea where to start.. So, one of the things i really want to do this year is learning Spanish, because i thought to myself, if i could learn English, then surely, i can learn another language, too! But the thing is, the only thing i have memorised is that.. eight is ocho. And another thing is, i didn’t really “choose” to learn English by myself, it’s more like i encountered a lot of content with it, so i tried to understand it by learning it, little by little.
What does this have to do with learning Spanish, though? Well, i just don’t consume a lot of Spanish content… I mean, i could play a game with the language or watch an anime with subs, but still, most of my knowledge comes from videos, and i don’t know any Spanish-speaking youtubers, so here’s that. Okay, i think maybe i’m just making excuses at this point..
Anyways, i hope that you’ll feel better soon!

Can’t find a good article for this, but a new Xbox console that supports Steam has allegedly been leaked and is supposed to be released in 2027. Wonder if we’ll hear more about this soon

That's hilarious if true. Though truth be told I hope Steam continues it's own independent developments, SteamOS has potential and I'd love to see the day where Windows is no longer a requirement for playing PC games.

A person can dream....

For what it's worth I haven't used Windows to play a PC game for almost half a decade, and I have done a non-zero amount of gaming in that time

I think I heard about that, I honestly have my doubts that it's true, but if it is, that honestly would be pretty cool.

Yeah, I think it’s a pretty good way to end the console wars. The actual Xbox store gonna crash and burn though.

Don't worry, I don't think you missed much. The forum's still peacefully quiet, as always. Which for me is a good thing, so I don't have to use up a lot of the time I spend here looking at topics that I don't need to be replying to and can spend my time looking at different topics I haven't made a response to.
