I hate this argument even more than I hate it when someone says Green Day sold out. Because

1. There are many vibrant and colourful sites today; not just on neocities
2. So many sites back in the day were corporate slop being entirely black or grey with a basic patterns. Its function over form for modern sites which isn’t ideal but can do perfectly
3. Social media is good! Would you wanna go back to a time where the internet was mostly shitty blogs made using Geocities templates? If you say yes then regrets you will.

That being said, I really love apple’s smooth style they went for from about 2013-2020. Really came off nicely

TBH i want a mix of social media and personal sites. Social media sites can be good for sharing shit, and personal sites can be used for costamzation.

I think that’s the situation we have now!

But also i think what the two others were complaining about the lack of personalzation on the web. That is the main reason i dont use most social media.

Okay, but seriously, can you tell I'm excited about the Minecraft Movie? Even though Doug Walker's review on it did make me kind of scared to watch it, I still think it's going to be a banger movie. I feel like I'm a kid again getting excited over minecraft

I heard that it wasn't good but let's not take the word of Doug Walker as gospel. The dude has been discreted as a reliable critic ever since that ill-fated The Wall review. As usual, the only good opinion is yours.

(But I was scheduled to skip it in favor of the Natacha movie which has far more relevance to my YT channel's content... Only to skip it anyway because after my sister's passage in the country I was exhausted )

Okay so ive been looking through the memeber list (to arhcive fan sites... ive only managed to find one atm) and i realized that... a lot of them lead to scam sites? But like only older accounts? Are bots hacking into older accounts to put scam links in the desc? On a fucking fourm site??

I don't usually care for critic's opinions, but I think Doug is pretty funny, so every once in a while I listen to the guy. He had some solid points and things I agreed with, so I was a little bit skeptical However I believe that regardless of what he- or any critic in general says, I'll like it.
