I know that, but my intention had been to make a plumpkin all along. Technically, that didn't need to be "called", as it could be predicted from my entry two years ago.

I didn't really mean to direct it at you. It's just that when I made the sig, it looked like "Halloween involving plums" would be the theme, so, like you said, everyone would be making these. I didn't want anyone to lose sight of the fact that I invented the concept.

the ting prize for this should be increased, cos the top rank is going to require a lot more tings now (what was it again, 200k or 250k?) and this competition could use an activity boost anyway

I do believe 250 k was decided. Either way the prize pot should depend on how many people enter because a prizepot of 500 tings is a lot if there's only 4 entries and hardly anything if there's 10.

I think it should be a matter of having a starting prizepot of 250 tings + 50 per entry. (For example anyway)

I do have an idea for this theme, but I won't be entering because I have too much work, and I'm not sure it's a good enough idea.
