Thanks all. It's been quite a while since my last improvement, so it feels good to finally get it done.

My goal now is to reach 859.000 points. I can get the 100 points from BOM and then I'll have to look for the remaining 100 points elsewhere. It could be LS or SBTC. Whatever I choose I know it will be hell to get it.

I can't at the moment imagine how to reach 860k points, which would be ultimately cool.

You also like perfect numbers, don't you?

Agh, I should reach the 600k myself.

Hehe, yeah I do have a weakness for perfect numbers. Sadly, so far 860k seems unobtainable.

My score in SBTC is 111.607 so there's room for improvement. But jumping for the green gem and hitting the edge in the same combo is such a hard thing to do. I'd rather not go there again unless I really have to.

Congratulations MandM! Since you're getting closer to the absolute maximum, have you thought of playing Rayman 3 HD, which opens different scoring perspectives?

Thanks! I will definitely play R3 HD when I finish the "old" version. I will not aim for the ultimate score in every level though. The Fairy Council was extremely hard to squeeze every point out of. If I had to do that with every elevel I would go nuts, especially with the Lums dependent combos in the latter half of the game. But I will look forward to finding out how many points can be reached in CF and TLOTLD.

Thanks to you as well. I have followed your videos daily here in RPC and you have made a remarkable process. And your videos are much clearer than the ones I make. I guess I need a new camera.

It won't be long before you pass the magic 800k milestone. Which level will you use to pass 800k?

I am playing SBTC right now And thanks I'm playing on pc so I record with programs.

What's your score there at the moment?

Before I restarted all the game since the FC I had 80329 points in SBTC, that's bad I'm in part 1 in the ship, I always miss the cannon combo. I had 17000 at the last try.

The cannon combo is by no means easy. You can settle for 16k or 17k in the first part. There are plenty of points in part 2 and many exciting combos.

I make mistakes in part 2 too so I try to get my "maximum" in part 1. EDIT: 17k - 18k will be sufficent

That's a fine score indeed. You are allowed a few mistakes in part 2.

After the Matuvus of The Fairy Council, no blue animal seems unobtainable. And since I still have the mood to play R3 I tried a few other Matuvu combos. I made a video of one of them.

It may not be clear from the video quality, but the total combo is 1.380 points.

That one is really hard.

btw just curious, i still wonder if you managed to get from the wooden bridge to the trunk with the matuvus under it in time, in FC part 2? i just looked around in that area a few days ago, but it still seems undoable for me.

i still don't really feel any motivation to play R3 though.. i was merely playing around yesterday, and even though i came pretty close once, i still don't see it happening

however another interesting thought maybe:
like a year ago i was playing around in the doctor's office in DOTK, and the smaller platform, as well as the left corner of the ledge, seems a little glitchy.. i was rolling off said edge quite a few times and experienced some minor launching glitches. ever since that day i go back to that part every now and then and try to reach the other side of the room with the hoodlums on it.

i just thought i'd share this observation now that i think of it, maybe someone feels the motivation to play around with it. i'd really like to see the 860k happening (as well as a few fc combos as well some day btw )

I forgot to talk about this glitch, this is working too with me, but it was a few years ago so I don't remember if I reached the other side, but well: what do you want to do there ?

well, it would enable us to easily include all the lums in the final combo, which would make quite a difference for console players.
also, we'd be able to play DOTK again, which is quite a lot easier to motivate oneself for than SBTC or LS.

As I already said in the You game, my left hand is unusable for the moment so I can't play
