Oh, I see. I'm in work experience so I can't really turn the volume up, but I'm guessing that's a lyric of the song?

I don't think I've ever properly listened to Pink Floyd, but I do remember hearing something about one of their songs having one of those weird messages that you play backwards...

Every artist who is popular in any way has one of those wierd messages that you play backwards #conspiradish
Seriously, listen to their albums, they're pretty gosh darn fantastic.

I'll give them a try when I get back home, but I doubt I'd be that interested. People say I have a very poor taste in music, and I probably have; the only music I like is music that I grew up listening to, and 90% of that is from videogames. I probably wouldn't even like the music if I hadn't listened to them as a kid.
I still like some much more over others though, which could somewhat disprove that theory. Mmmm, Forest of Illusion... Creative Exercise... Song of Storms...
Also a lot of anime theme tunes, but I can almost guarantee I wouldn't like most of them if I hadn't watched the series.
Whoops, I seem to have completely steered the topic off kilter... Too much rambling I guess.

Dream Log: January 23, 2015
Another nightmare. To blurry to recall. Only image I remember is of a truck and its bloody tire tracks.

Meh, I had one recently where I left my old laptop on top of my new one, and the new one melted because the fan was broke on the old one.

Do you know why you're having so many nightmares?

No, I don't dwell to much on it. This has been my first nightmare in a few days.

Today I dreamt about my past girlfriend. We were right at the stage of transition between "I like you" to falling in love with each other. We danced. It was a good dream.

Aw that sucks em. I hate insomnia. It's crappy by its own right but then it also goes so far as to ruin the day after.

Had a waking-up dream a few nights (mornings?) ago. I was walking in the grounds of some large old-fashioned public school in an indeterminate place - unclear as to whether it was deep in the countryside or secluded somewhere near a town or city. It felt divorced from everything else. The sky was wide and blue, the sun was shining, the grass was golden, the buildings were yellow and silver and there was no one there. And by the time I'd reached the gatekeeper's house on the other side of the grounds I was weeping and sobbing words because it was silent and empty and it shouldn't have been, something that large and well-kept shouldn't have been, and it was all so beautiful still.
I can pinpoint a number of locations, including some cemeteries, which the dream drew on for inspiration. But phew. I think if the dream had gone on it would have transpired that there'd been a rapture/zombie apocalypse of sorts.

I can confirm that that is a fantastically accurate description of public schools in the UK

The main inspiration for the entire shape of the grounds was actually my first secondary, which was indeed a private school

Sounds like a really atmospheric, surreal dream. Those are definitely the best ones, and I get what you mean about them being inspiring.
I had a similar one the other day in which I was in a wood, which seemed pretty familiar to me in the dream although I'd never been anywhere like it in reality. It was just... atmospheric, and I hate to use that word again, but there's nothing else.
