Hmm, come to think of it, how big is a Wii compared to the PSOne?

Any Resident Evil fans should know, the Resident Evil Remake for Gamecube is getting... another remake for the next gen consoles and PC, hell yes.

A remake of a remake, Yo dog.

It was totally deserved though, I never expected RE1 to get a remake, but if it sells well, I hope RE2 gets a well deserved remake afterwards.

Considering Capcom sucks when it comes remaking sequels (Mega Man Powered Up 2 and Irregular Hunter X2 were cancelled), I am not sure. Also, no Wii U version for RE remake? Lolwhy? RE series to my knowledge was always on Nintendo too.

Considering the game was originally released on Gamecube and got ported to the Wii later that may be why.

But isn't it just a port? (I suppose they could still fuck it up, though.)

I already got the game in HD on Dolphin but I think Capcom is releasing this on STEAM to test the waters and see how well 'Survival Horror' Resident Evil still is among the fans. I for one will certainly support it.

Just wondering, but would you all rather have Portal 3 or Half-Life 3

Half-Life 3, because Episode 2 seriously ended on a ridiculous cliffhanger.

HL3. There is essentially no need for Portal 3, or at least that need is vanishingly small in comparison to the need to continue from HL2:Ep2's cliffhanger.

Portal 3 merely because I have not invested myself in the Half-Life series yet (not even sure if I ever will TBH).

I recommend you don't. It's great but the indefinite status of HL3 may cause you much anxiety!

I have yet to play the Half-Life series as well.

I definitely want a Portal 3 or a Portal movie

I wonder what sort of movie that would end up being.

It would be something, but I'd rather have a Team Fortress 2 show.
Hmmm, upcoming games, huh? Super Smash Bros. for the 3DS is the only game I'm looking towards to. I didn't find many games that seem worth the wait.

Bump time? Bump time.
So I am excited about a lot of games coming in 2018, Kingdom Hearts 3 and Dragon Quest XI to name a couple, but one game really stands out on my list. Is it even a game? Maybe it is just a dream.
Yeah, it's Dreams for PS4: an application where you can create games (or even other stuff) and play other people's games. Similar things exist already, but nothing comes close to the scope and the ease of use that Dreams seems to offer.
You can create almost everything about the game yourself, for almost any genre. If it's a 3D platformer you're looking to create, then Dreams seems to be perfect for it: you can sculpt (video from 1.5 years ago) and animate your own character, program its moveset, program the game logic, draw/sketch the world, put stuff in it to collect, create cinematics, and have a simple level finished within like 30 minutes. To give you an idea of the scope, there's even a full music sequencer inside, which can tie instruments to game logic to create rhythm games, for example. Oh, and you can also export your models for use in more open game engines.
You can make stuff like this:
This screenshot in particular shows exactly the sort of art style that I would want for a 3D Dreambound.
As you might know, Dreambound is my fan game that just doesn't get anywhere beyond having a super detailed 70-page game design bible for 10% of the game (plus pages and pages of smaller ideas for details in later areas), as well as having the full story (incl. optional sidestories) written out in bullet point format, overall gameplay planned, and a lot of concept images and music made.
I definitely plan on creating one of the areas I have in mind in Dreams to see if I can create the whole game in this (even though I am currently changing my ideas to make them work in 2D version again). I will likely decide against making the full game in it, since I don't want it to be bound to Dreams (hehe geddit) and I am too much of a perfectionist for stuff that concerns my game, but I will definitely try to create a smaller thing. I can imagine a lot of people will do the same: create short stories or small fangames of their favorite videogames. Seems ideal for a Rayman fangame, or something like a small Rayman 1 3D recreation. I'm quite looking forward to see what stuff will pop up.
