Or to be more exact: The drivers, which can affact the Dolphin plugins, since you are using Windows XP SP3.
It's an factor, but not always the case. But have you tried to tweak them, or tried the latest SVN builds of Dolphin?
The SVN build which Drolpiraat have used was: 2195
The lastest SVN build that is available is:
5820
You seems to be using Dolphin 2.0, and not the SVN builds:
http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/s ... clnk&gl=dk
But SVN builds does require that you compile it by yourself:
http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/wiki/WindowsBuild
They also say "preferably 64-bit version", so maybe you're right. It can actually be the rare case that they've optimized it the most for x86-64.

Finally, some more information.
The Blog Entry wrote:RAYMAN ORIGINS, or the story of the birth of an uncontrollable eggplant in a crazy world
When ?
Episode 1 for
Christmas 2010! Hours of adventure and fun …
The rest for 2011!
Which format ?
HD Consoles for the end of the year ( XBLA then PSN)
Wii, PC, iPad, 3DS to be considered.
With which tools ?
UBIart Framework, a complete “homemade” solution for creating and editing levels and characters, which will be open source in 2011
More infos on
http://www.ubi-art.com
And what will be inside ?
Adventure, alone, with a friend, slaps, fairies, monsters, jokes, great music and many more surprises
I'd much rather it be on the 3DS than the Wii, unless there's a 2P Co-op mode.
Uncontrollable eggplant? I thought he wasn't a vegetable.

I think eggplant refers to his taste in... purple.

It's probably another joke along with the "man/vegetable/thingimajig" thing.
Glad to see that PC, Wii and 3DS are being considered at least, along with Paper Mario that'd probably give me an excuse to get a 3DS. :B

I'm betting a 3DS release is the most likely, since Rayman tends to get tons of handheld ports.

Haruka wrote:I still think it quite sucks the region blocks. I want GC's Rayman Arena...

If you have a PAL gamecube, you could easily import Rayman Arena and then buy a freeloader disc for your Gamecube. Also if you have a PAL Wii, they have a variety of softmod region unlock discs or even I think there's something you can download on an SD card so a Wii will play all region.
Of this generation and the last, Nintendo's systems have been the easiest to softly region unlock with that disc. Of course now PS3s are region free (for the new games at least), but you know not exactly every game has lived up to what Sony has preached.

Haha, wow. I'm lucky for once! XBLA is first, which means I'll be one of the first on this forum to play it.

And wow, Ubi-art is going open-source. That... that is amazing. I want it. NOW. More than Rayman Origins itself actually.

A French admin at Raymanzone says that a wii version is definite but I could be wrong due to being lingually challenged:

Nah, I've given up hope on that. Ubisoft has never taken the Wii seriously and never will. I just hope it's on the 3DS or PC, though.

Interesting enough they're considering to port an episodic released game to PC. This might mean that we'll get a package for PC that immediately includes all the episodes in 2011 or 2012 ( ? ), or that Ubisoft could be developing a new game distribution system for the PC ( why not concurrent with Steam ? I think Ubisoft has the power to pull that off ). I'd like to see the second option to be fair, since it'll be more interesting then just yet another typically packaged PC game.
And they're going to release the UbiArt framework as open source ? Yes, yes, yes, that's awesome! It'll be so nice to toy with these magical tools and look at the underlying source code.

now i would buy a nintendo 3DS if they port rayman 3 (GC version? ) to the 3DS since rayman 2 HAS TOO MANY RE-RELEASES AND ITS ARUGH go give some love to rayman 3 or rayman 1 for the love of god ubi.
but rayman 2 would look nice in updated graffics and more details.

Why do you want more R1 ports? We've already got it on the GBA, DSi, and PSN.

A port that’s actually good would be nice.

Uncontrollable eggplant
This is really strange. But maybe a bad translation? Did you know that the two blogs are also in french availible? Just change uk into fr in the url. The french (original?) text says:
RAYMAN ORIGINS, ou l’histoire de la naissance d’une aubergine incontrôlable dans un monde délirant…
But i think this text is also strange...even if i don't really understand it ...
PS: The blogs are online again.
edit:
Woops. I didn't know that a eggplant is a vegetable. The German word for this is the same as in French: aubergine. So it makes more sense. I thought an eggplant is a plant which lets grow fruits that looks like eggs or something like that xD
So after all i think its a joke like in the trailer

An eggplant is a fruit, not a vegetable. A fruit which happens to bear a resemblance to Rayman's body, to be precise.
