I don't know, but what I'm very sure about is that we beat the result from 2023! That's an amazing achievement. It was hard to do it better, but we did!
Next one: 2020, 5095 posts. Can we make it?

Really? This is literally one of the craziest things! And yeah, we’ll definitely destroy 2020 as well!

Well done everyone on beating last year's result! 2023 was a really fun record day, and this one is a worthy successor. Now as for 2020, it's less than 400 posts to go in almost 5 hours and a half, that shouldn't be a problem either.
On a side note, the second round of
bets is open until 17:00 UTC. Stake: 100 Tings.

Am I the only one who got a white screen here for 10 minutes?

Yes, the site went down because Redis crashed for some reason. I fixed it as quickly as I could, sorry for the inconvenience!

And it happened a few times the previous years...
History is just a cycle repeating itself

It's because someone approved the pink names but refuses to give me an aqua/teal username.

"Redis crashed for some reason", said Humnch before terminating the SSH session to lame-ass 25 years old toaster server with millions of levels of cache so it can run everything.

It crashed a second time for just a few minutes, but this time I was able to identify the root cause and fix it.

I can't help but imagine a literal 90s toaster now just running RPC. Like literally a bread toaster, and it's just keeping the forum alive.

The best part is, it can toast bread.

I didn't know the RPC was sharing its servers with Nintendo

No no no no we can not be sharing servers with Nintendo, they might shut as down!
