I had no issue understanding what you were saying.

What I meant was: what about all the unused developmental stuff in games like this secret cutscene that was just found by bunnieblaster? How fun would it be to read about them in a book compared to someone actually finding them in the game itself? Isn't it far more entertaining to see someone dig up some secret code deep inside the bowels of the game that further hints at specific relationships between characters than the developers coming out and going 'yeah that was a thing'? Isn't it far more fun to theorise over unused scripts rather than immediately knowing the answer from the devs' side? Isn't it far more fun finding an unused character in a game and somehow figuring out how to get to play as them in the game itself (hypothetically speaking) than reading about a time in the past that they were considered a character to be included but later scrapped?

You get my point - hidden gems inside games are like treasure. Removing the treasure and writing an article about it instead is not the same as touching the gold yourself.
