what if you could choose between a start menu and a start screen in windows 8.1 like how you could choose between a normal start menu and a fullscreen start menu in windows 10

You'd probably get the Start Menu you saw in the early Windows 10 builds:


Which was effectively Windows 7 on the left, and Windows 8 on the right. Honestly, I kinda like it. I'd almost say I prefer it were it not for the placement of the utility icons in the final Windows 10 Start Menu. Having them align with the edge of the screen was a nice ergonomic touch as it meant it was easier to click icons such as the settings or power button with speed. Alas, Windows 11 decided to be a regression on that front.

What if Windows Phone actually became the dominant smartphone platform?

i would main it tbh, i really like the windows metro look, even themed my windows 10 install to kinda be like windows 8 lol

what if the rayman series just ended on rayman 1, no new games or anything all we had was rayman 1 and nothing else
