Surprisingly, no. In my field of work in the private sector, unions are so useless that all representatives are only puppets of upper management.

Unions can only do so much, especially when there's a lot of laws and regulations that restrict what unions can do.

Unions have been demonized in the eyes of the general public in the western world since at least the 80s.

I personnally blame Bruno Solo for his rôle as Hervé Dumont in the french serie Caméra Café for that.

What I mean in case you misinterpreted it is that people can see your most active subforum and topic because you have less than 5000 posts, but I can’t see mine because I have more.
