I'm not quite sure what's going on here, but I thought to look at the ingredients list of some of the items of discussion.
Here's the ingredients for Hartley's (fairly common brand here) Strawberry Jam:
Sugar, Strawberries, Water, Acid: Citric Acid, Gelling Agent: Pectin, Acidity Regulator: Sodium Citrates, Prepared with 37g of Fruit per 100g, Total Sugar content 61g per 100g
Ingredients in a Tesco Jam Doughnut from the bakery aisle:
Wheat Flour [Wheat Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin], Raspberry Jam (21%) [Sugar, Raspberry Purée, Water, Acidity Regulators (Citric Acid, Trisodium Citrate), Gelling Agent (Pectin)], Water, Palm Oil, Sugar, Rapeseed Oil, Yeast, Emulsifiers (Mono- and Diglycerides of Fatty Acids, Mono- and Diacetyl Tartaric Acid Esters of Mono- and Diglycerides of Fatty Acids), Raising Agents (Sodium Bicarbonate, Monocalcium Phosphate, Potassium Carbonate), Soya Flour, Maize Flour, Salt, Flour Treatment Agent (Ascorbic Acid), Milk Proteins.
And for Warburton's white bread:
Wheat Flour [with Calcium, Iron, Niacin (B3) and Thiamin (B1)], Water, Yeast, Salt, Vegetable Oils (Rapeseed and Sustainable Palm), Soya Flour, Preservative: Calcium Propionate, Emulsifiers: E472e, E481, Flour Treatment Agent: Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C )

The pastries? Just sugar. The bread? We don’t use anything at all. A basic food like bread doesn’t have sugar belong in it! (Replying to Jonster, and thanks for researching Master!)

Reminds me of how using the ç instead of the c (fuçk) on the Monster Legends global chat bypassed the filter. Unfortunately, people used this for much worse words…
