Oh god this is like Sans Undertale all over again...
If we're really doing that lemme just note down the list of games we should change the names of on the wiki.....Hunchman801 wrote: Fri Oct 04, 2024 5:07 pm My thoughts exactly! Let's add his new last name to the wiki now.![]()
Except “Sans Undertale” just made me chuckle when I read it, it never pissed me off
Something like that for Rayman would be really interesting, actually. I'd be intrigued.Droolie wrote: Fri Oct 25, 2024 6:40 pm Ubisoft sponsored a 4 hour documentary of the Prince of Persia series for its 35th anniversary and provided footage of cut content and interviews: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHhK0kvH58I
I hope they'll do something similar for the Rayman series too.
An interesting tidbit about Rayman was also mentioned: the writers of Warrior Within (and later Assassin's Creed), Corey May and Dooma Wendschuh apparently pitched a Rayman TV series around 2003/2004 that was rejected by Ubisoft: https://youtu.be/tHhK0kvH58I?si=7RnwB_2y7LC7rK1q&t=6984
A few storyboards are seen here as well, but not a lot.
I always thought that his hair was like, normal hair, it’s just imbued with magic or something like that??EdgeRabbit wrote: Thu Nov 14, 2024 7:15 pm Yeah... uh, a canadain sterotype that we say "eh" a lot..
Also, do you guys think Raymans hair has bones? Since his hair can fly and stuff,,
Maybe, idk? I’m glad you like it, but now i’m thinking.. Does Rayman even have bones? Bones are supposed to connect stuff, right? But his body is barely connected to any other body parts.. I think i’m looking into this a little bit too muchEdgeRabbit wrote: Thu Nov 14, 2024 8:04 pm Yeah.. makes sense.. but i still like the idea..
Maybe he grows bones in his hair after he gets powered up by Betilla?
He definitely has bones, as Bubble Dreamer in Origins says "Less bones to break!" which implies he does have. Also remember your head, hands, feet and torso also have bones. I don't think they'd work exactly as in real life though, considering Rayman seems to be kiiiiinda stretchy?Magelin wrote: Thu Nov 14, 2024 8:15 pm Does Rayman even have bones? Yeah, i do remember that, but the thing is, there's like only one bone in our body that's not connected to any other bones. And it keeps in place by muscles, cartilage and stuff like that.. Maybe his bones are all kept that way, too?ArcaneDarkling wrote: Thu Nov 14, 2024 8:43 pm He definitely has bones, as Bubble Dreamer in Origins says "Less bones to break!" which implies he does have. I haven’t even considered rayman to have bones, to be honestEdgeRabbit wrote: Thu Nov 14, 2024 7:15 pm Also, do you guys think Raymans hair has bones? Since his hair can fly and stuff,,
I'm guessing not all bones of his connect, they're like different sections. Rayman has teeth and likely a skull, although teeth technically aren't bones... So yes, Rayman's just built different (although I think that's pretty obvious). Ed is in one of the Murfy cutscenes in Rayman Arena, shown as a skeleton in the background. Since Ed is also limbless, I'm guessing Rayman's bones are somewhat similar?Magelin wrote: Fri Nov 15, 2024 5:27 am Yeah, i do remember that, but the thing is, there's like only one bone in our body that's not connected to any other bones. I dunno about that, i definitely see a lot of guys with floating, disconnected limbs in my neighborhood!ArcaneDarkling wrote: Fri Nov 15, 2024 3:00 pm So yes, Rayman's just built different (although I think that's pretty obvious).
