GN doesn't drink. GN does not need it to get drunk. On topic, the next game I'll be playing is Ninja Baseball Batman.
NINJA BASEBALL BATMAN. NINJA MUTHASHOOPIN' BALLIN' BATMAN.
This is a motherfucking game right here, folks.

I'm currently playing The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind after getting everything out of its sequels, Oblivion and Skyrim. I have to say I think Morrowind has the best setting of the three... it's completely alien. The world isn't as generic as in its sequels... not that that ever bothered me.
I'll probably continue playing Xenogears soon, too.

Completely agree! It's one of the best I've played.

(Dreambound is partially inspired by it, too)
Chrono Cross was good too, but it can't touch Chrono Trigger. I even played the text adventure that was remade into Chrono Cross later, and that was great too. If only they still made games like this...

Earthbound is brilliant, Nintendo really needs to bring the series back, Ness has become my main in Brawl even. I've been meaning to try out the fan translations of Mother 1 and 3, Nintendo needs to release the games on virtual console or something, or even remake them, that would be amazing.

I couldn't agree more with you. Mother 3 reproduction carts are being made so we can play it in english on the go by a fan service, I'm excited for that. I also spent 120$ just to own an Earthbound Cartridge, such a golden game in my collection.

Woah! Holy shit-tit fuck Batman, $120 for a game? Now I can scratch Earthbound off my list, I was hoping to get it someday when I get an SNES for my collection too...

I was pretty dedicated to pay that much for Earthbound, it's a great game. I really wish Nintendo would re-release 1 and 3 in english, sadly, I don't think it will ever happen, so we need to depend on the FANS here to make reproduction carts or anything of the sort.

Diablo 2 with the Lords of Destruction expansion pack. It's my first time playing actually, despite the fact the games over 12 years old now. I've mostly been playing on battle.net, and I'm actually surprised the multiplayer's survived for so long and is still fairly active, (there are ussually 10 to 25 servers open on the european gateway and about 500 people playing on battle.net, though some of them are bots trying to advertise websites). I've gotten to act 3, but that was of course with the help of stronger players, and I only feel like I'm strong enough to be on about the 4th quest of act 2 at the minute. It's really fun though, I am enjoying it immensely.
I'm a bit sad though that its impossible to get a digital version of diablo 1 and the hellfire expansion, because I know for a fact the multiplayer servers are still up (because to my knowledge Diablo 1, 2 and starcraft 1 run on the same servers) but I believe it may be something to do with compatibility issues on modern systems that Blizzard can't be bothered to fix. Oh well, I'll survive without playing Diablo 1, or just give in and buy something second-hand for the first time in 5 years.

Exactly!
I love it when devs make characters from their other games have a cameo appearance. There's also a Meat Boy item (Cube of Meat) and there's Gish from the game Gish.

Dude, was just about to write the exact same thing...holy shit is all I can say. When the credits started rolling I decided this is probably the best ending to a game ive ever seen, then the vintage take on "every body wants to rule the world" by Tears For Fears started playing....YES!!

Warning: This post has bad syntax and probably a lot of grammatical mistakes. If you don't like this: Fuck you! It's 4 o'clock in the morning!
I wouldn't say it's the best story I've ever seen, but it's close. To me, the story from the original BioShock was more appealing. I can't really explain why, because I refuse to reveal any of the plot to those poor souls who haven't played the game yet. Having just finished it, I think that if there were more games like this, that focus on telling a story, rather than having the single player campaign being something the developers slapped together during one vodka-fuelled evening, like with most multiplayer-focused games, this game wouldn't stand out as much as it does now, in a market where there's basically nothing else like it.
That said, it's still a fantastic game, mainly because of the setting and the story. Play it if you haven't. It's far better than BioShock 2, which I hated like the plague for attempting to copy the elegant and intricate plot from the first game, and failing miserably. And for having a completely unnecessary and terrible multiplayer part.
One thing I particularly like about the BioShock games (not BS2) is that while both their stories are quite heavy on the pseudoscience, they explain the pseudoscience so elegantly that they get away with it in my book. And I'm usually quite critical when it comes to this. Assassin's Creed, for example, fails to explain it's pseudoscientific elements well enough for me to accept them. The AC developers lost my interest the moment they explained that the Animus is a device which accesses your ancestors' memories by reading your DNA. Anyone who knows anything about what DNA is should know that this idea is ridicolous, and it had me lose interest in the story within the first five minutes of the first game. When it comes to things like these, it is, in my opinion, much better to leave them unexplained, or make the explanation so vague that you can fill the gaps with your imagination. BioShock and Infinte does this incredibly well, and even though both games contain elements which are most certainly impossible, at least with the technology available in 1960 and 1912 respectively, the way the story is told makes sure even a critical gamer like me accepts them without thinking twice. That's quite and achivement in my eyes.
tl;dr version: Bioshock Infinite is great from a plotwise point of view, but not as great as BioShock. BioShock 2 is an abomination, and so is Assasin's Creed.
