I've noticed something by playing Rayman 2. Tomorrow, I will play R2 again and post the pictures here so I can tell you exactly what it is. Until then... try playing the Sanctuary of Stone and Fire and see if you can figure out what I mean. I've found a very interesting link between the two games - character wise. Anyway, tomorrow you'll all see.

I went into gamestation in Southend earlier and saw they've got Origins on preorder now, they reckon the wii version will come out on 25th November... um... no sign of it in GAME though.

For those who don't know, you can win trips to the Eurogamer expo, copies of the games and loads of goodies in the Rayman Origins art contest. ;)

Hey guys, did you notice in rayman 3 (in the minigame 2-d madness), the text saying "sometimes rayman remembers being a kid, when everything was in 2d"? that only confirms that rayman was a kid in rayman 1, and that explains why is rayman so crazy in rayman origins, he's just a kid!...well, maybe a teenager, he enjoys blowing up skirts..

Here's the video (thanks to haruka):

Hey guys, I've got some news for 'ya! :)
The Belgian/Dutch gameshop Game Mania says that there will be a collector's edition of the game wich includes a 64 pages hardcover artbook, the soundtrack and the game in a special case. For those who pre-order at Game Mania will get it for the same price as the normal edition. ( €59,98) The site also says that the game will release on the 24th of november.
Here is the link: http://www.gamemania.be/Default.aspx?ta ... urce=pphbb (But remember, it's in Dutch).

I already pre-ordered my copy. :D

What the fuck!? There is already a bunch of stupid complaining about the Wii version, and now they won't let us have the goodies either? Why is there always so much fuck around the wii? :pascontent:

I think all official material can be taken seriously. It’s the ambiguity of the word ‘kid’ that means we can’t extract any real meaning from it. Judging by Rayman Origins, Rayman is an ageless creature, so all traditional human concepts of age and maturity go out the window.

You ARE kidding ME. There will be for everyone and the Wii owners "go for a walk in the beach, sit and watch ships pass"?! :boon:

That's discrimination! No fair! :boon: No faiiiiiir!

Why I have the feeling now I'm being forced even more to save money for a HD console just for this? :(

There always seems to be a kind of hatred around the Wii. It's usually HD, but this isn't the case here. Damn it! The Wii U will have HD and now they're complaining the HD is not good enough.

If you buy a HD console, not only will you be able to get the artbook, but you’ll also get a hugely improved version of the game itself, as well as the ability to play hundreds of games to which you previously did not have access.

I’m intrigued by the inclusion of an official soundtrack. No Rayman game has had one before. It’ll be interesting to see what the official track-names are like. I wonder if RayTunes will be so bold as to host a freely downloadable version of the music, considering PC’s new-found relationship with Ubisoft.
