That's a lot of plastic they have there, stands, cradles, all in the same package. I don't like big AC adaptors, but I could deal with it, the Wii had one too if I recall. A nice touch that it includes a Hdmi cable along with the standard AV cable, if I do say so myself.

OK that video made me want a Wii U kinda. I feel like a fool, but ok. I'll go take a look at the games that it will have and if I like it I may ask for one for Christmas, just in case I even get one.

My stance remains the same, I'd rather wait to see what's completely on offer, rather than jump in the deep end and make a decision I could potentially regret.

Yeah, a lot of plastic in there. This might sound silly but the Wii U gamepad looks smaller than what I thought. In the RL videos it seemed bigger.

I'm staying with my choice. Just going to keep hoping they'll release a PS3/Xbox/PC version eventually. And if they don't, then too bad. No Legends for me. I also don't like the idea of spending a ton of cash for a single game again, no matter how good it may be.

It doesn't mean I won't ever get a Wii U but for now it is not a choice. I would rather wait for a price cut of the console. Ubisoft will make me happy if they change their minds later and release a port for PC/PS3.

Same here.

Shrooblord wrote:Whether he is truly evil or not is up for debate, but where did you get the notion from that he's punishing Ray for being greedy? He showed up on his doorstep in order to get a magic elixir that would cure his friend's severe ailments and what did he get for it? A bad trip. And a trip to the underworld. Of course Jano is only challenging him, but running into him and trying to then devour Rayman isn't exactly a simple punishment. He even warns Rayman beforehand that he'd better hurry his pace, because if he gets to him, he'll have hell to pay.
Well, if Rayman decides to take the Treauser instead of the Elixir, he is punished for being greedy. Have you tried it in the game?

I won't buy Rayman Legends. Well, only if it ever be released for PS3 or the Wii.

Consoles have no place in my life and, more importantly, no place in my mother's life! Therefore, only a PC release will make me cough anything up!

I'd rather wait for Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party to be ported. Seriously, after reading so many interviews saying that Legends was completely designed around the gamepad, I wouldn't be that optimistic.
A price cut? you can bet that, Haruka, Nintendo always does that, and the price cut is usually very generous. Sadly, I'm too desperate to wait, and I actually wanna try the Wii U, it looks like a pretty decent console.

If consoles like the GBASP and Wii had price cuts at some points, the Wii U will have too for sure. Its only a matter of waiting.

it will cut the prices in at least 6 months, the console doesn't have good advertisements here in America. (People still think it is a new controller). I like the european ads, tho, they go directly to the point.

The American ad is awful. Nintendo America needs to see that they're stepping away from ads full of people sitting on a couch and smiling. The launch games are not bad, but unless you are a fan of Nintendo franchises I don't see much there would be to buy. Obviously fans and younger kids will want Mario/Nintendo Land/Pikmin, but for other people to join in they'd have to expand a little more. If Valve is still interested in the Wii U it would be for sales, and anyone that manages to get Mojang to port games on their console is bound to get money, even though they're working with the Ooya right now.
Iwata is a badass.

Why yes, some casual gamers are that dumb. Thinking Wii U is an add-on to Wii.

Really, three days ago I asked a bunch of people about Wii U because they were talking about videogames, and they said "oh, isn't that the new controller for Wii? that sucks, when is Nintendo gonna to learn that they need to create a new console instead of those shitty accessories?"

I don't know if you watched that video where some guy asked a bunch of people what do they think about the "Wii U". Most of them thought it was a Wii University

That's hilarious!
