The ending of Infinite didn't sit well with me, not so much because of the supernatural stuff (which was already a part of the plot), but because of the other big twist right at the end. I'll just say that I felt the story was stronger when it focused on the city and the characters that influenced it. The gameplay also started to get a little repetitive at the very end, which is a bit of a shame.

The game is still sweet though. The powers you get as you go on are so fucking awesome! Nothing spices up a shooter like being able to possess enemies and throw fireballs. Skylines are amazing too.

I wonder what kind of DLC is planned. Pretty excited for that.

F-Zero X, back in the days when Nintendo was gorgeusly badass.

I played BioShock Infinite last week. It's now one of my favourite games of all time. I'd rate it above the original.

[The first game focused on its philosophy and spectacular world all the way through. Infinite starts off in a similar way, with Columbia replacing Rapture and American exceptionalism standing in for Randian objectivism, but the science fiction elements mushroom out of control, eventually consuming the entire game. This works much better than I'd have thought.]

[Booker essentially goes on a cosmic voyage, meandering from one slightly different world to the next. He never gets back to the one at the beginning of the game. Or does he? We can never really tell. We're lost. It really evokes a sense of cosmic wonder when you're not even sure what bloody universe you're in. This culminates in the Dark Tower-style shocker at the conclusion. A warped human story trapped in a mesh of parallel universes and twisting timelines. Every time I think about the plot, I see something different. It's staggering.]

[A second playthrough is highly recommended. You wouldn't believe the amount of foreshadowing and world-building Easter eggs that become clear once you find out what happens at the end.]

I've played it once, it blowed my mind. It is indeed an excellent game. In fact, it is a great series, and Nintendo should take advantage of it on the Wii U

I just finished Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time.

I'm not quite sure what to think actually. The graphics was nice, but it didn't feel like a Sly game all the time. Gameplay wise it was fun to play, but it was rarely challenging. And for the most part we played as Sly or one of his ancestors. Also there were almost no more than one mission out in the level. And there rarely any Murray missions. Also the sound effects and those "BAng" "POW" "SMASH" cartoon bars when defeating a enemy in the original trilogy, could been better in this one.

But the music heard like the original at some points, level design was pretty good. Even though how easy it was, it still was fun to play. The story is pretty decent. Graphics is somewhat "nostalgic" as they succeed to make it look a good ol Sly game. And the boss fights was pretty fun and challenging.

I give it a 7/10.

My first review...meh.

@BzzitTheMoskito The Sly franchise is one I do want to give a shot. I remember to play the second game many years ago in the house of an ex-neighbour and I did enjoy the graphism and the Portuguese dub of the game. I'll try to buy the first game for PS2 one day.

The original Sly is slightly different than the rest of the franchise, but not by much. You should defiantly try the second again afterwards.

Sly 1 I liked the best personally. Only because I weren't too much of a fan of playing as Bentley and Murray.

Apparently it's been rumored that Jak and Daxter HD collection will be ported to the PSVITA. Do you know how awesome this would be? If this happens and succeeds we can expect to get a Ratchet and Clank HD collection, and Sly cooper. I hope this is true.

Theres is rumors about a HD-version of Ratchet Deadlocked/Gladiator coming to PSN sometime soon.

Also I just picked up Red Orchestra 2 GOTY Digital Deluxe for like 3 dollars. On steam when the sale was 6 mins left. I will give a lil thought about the game once I have played some of it.

The load times were pretty horrific too and six axis in 2013...really? Aside from gripes here and there it was a pretty solid game and worthy of the Sly Cooper name, gotta applaud the developer since they are pretty new in this field and handled it quite well. They did play it abit too safe though, im hoping if they do make a sequel they elaborate on the stealth system, making the enemy AI not as dumb as it was before.

Infinite definitely sounds interesting, but I think I prefer to wait until the price has dropped. Is it a story on its own or do the games have continuation? I barely know anything about Bioshock but it looks more like they slapped the name on the game for better sales, but I could be wrong.

Doing Kanto in Heart Gold now. Looks like the only way to train now is taking down the league a bunch of times. Gyms are getting better and Pokemon above level 15 are nowhere to be found... I like the updated version of Lavender Town. Funny that they started off the track with a somewhat frightening way and then it suddenly changes.

This would be great to see as well. But man I'm really hoping the rumor for Jak is true, I would LOVE to bring the game on the go if ported properly.
Aside from Rayman Revolution I think the very first Jak and Daxter game made by Naughty Dog was one of the BEST ps2 games ever made. Beautiful, colorful, vibrant environments in which you had many things to do in. The animations are extremely smooth and everything feels so fantasy-like in the world of Jak 1, for the time it was released in, and heck, even today, it TRULY is an impressive game. I mean just look at all these colors (ignore the low quality image):

I'm so happy they hd-remade this for the PS3, only downside of this is that my parents barely ever let me use the living room TV, so seeing this on a portable would be incredible and truly make up for the DISASTER that is Jak And Daxter: The Lost Frontier.

As beautiful as the world is in Jak 1, I've held a preference to Jak 2 and Jak 3.
Though I must say, owning the HD collection, all three do look very good in HD, and the colours of the first look just as vibrant.
I don't think The Lost Frontier was that bad, t'was pretty decent, though compared to High Impact's efforts on Size Matters, it was a little lacking.
The greatest issue to me though, Dark Daxter.

I'm glad to see other opinions on the Jak franchise. While I will admit storywise, Jak 2 and 3 were certainly better, I don't think the environments were as great as Jak 1, but I'm glad they went for something totally different in 2 making it stand out so much. The beautiful world of Jak 1 though I just got too sucked in to, it's so gorgeous, I like it much more then 2 and 3. I disliked Lost Frontier, the exploration element of Jak they took a huge shit on, making it so you travel around on a slow vehicle, rather then through an awesome dessert, or a futuristic city, they just take the concept of exploring and make it boring. As for the platforming parts I don't think they were too bad, but the story and Dark Daxter were just SO bad. It really killed it for me.
