What do you guys think of this rendition of Mr Dark? I thought it looked pretty cool:

But maybe it's just a little too evil, shall we say?

The artist gets down the essence of the character better than most.

That's a brilliant drawing, mysterious yet imposing, the way he looks at you makes you want to shudder.

Ah yes, that's easily my favourite Mister Dark drawing I've seen. Unlike most, it retains what made the character so mysterious. Even though the eyes are barely visible, they're just as mysterious as the cloak itself.

I was playing Rayman 1 on PS1, again. I made it up to the 2nk erea of Picture City without loesiing any continues. I had nearly 19 lives.
When I got to the part where you had to run down a hill and bounce through those pencils without failure. I lost 4 of my continues.... right there. at that 1 spot.
Then I looked up, on my pc how to pass that part. When I read one sollution, I tried it and literelly facepalmed. All I had to do was walk down and let the thing bounce me...
I lost four continues before figuring that out.

@RAPS2, ah, that one segment after the maze, it's Rayman's equivalent to the Barrel from Sonic 3.

OldClassicGamer, some of the sound effects in your game sound amusingly high-pitched, Rayman's pained yelp sounds more like a squeak! :)

That's just how the sound effects are in the Saturn version.

I first thought it was maybe because of Japanese version and that they high-pitched them to make it funnier for Japanese, but it seems it is same in American and European version.

Interesting, there are like 4 buttons between "E" and "I".

In any case, i've started a "No lives lost" walkthrough of Rayman Advance, i've already done the first 2 levels.

RA's a lot easier than the PlayStation ver., but remember to save often.

Did it happen sometime that you lost health point so you had to record again?
